  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOO FUCK!

  • I love this shit

  • I just like hearing rap that isnt always about blunts and sluts, Nas has discussed so many issues over his albums which is what seperates him from the rest, and the production of this track is amazing

  • @digi1988 im sick of everyone hatin on drugs guns money and girls in rap 4 real close your fuckin eyes and what do you want more then a bitch suckin your dick while you smoke a blunt to the head and count a fuckin stack of money, what could be better? its what every guy would want shit i bet girls wouldnt mind that kind of treatment either lol all im saying is before you knock it think about the things you want most in life, and nas raps all about that shit he jus does it more lyrically

  • @digi1988 you need any proof look no further then this very song, "im at my best when im high, i like my sex when im high, cash checks, blast tecks" all of the things i mentioned, guns sex drugs and money all in the same few lines lol

  • Getting high to this right now

  • anyone know the sample?

  • 3 people missed the like button

  • a song that every single one of us can relate to..."niggas rushing to the top not knowing what it takes to be the king of the industry, the wise move patiently" lines like that would strike a listener that enjoys lazy uninspired hip hop because the truth in that line is explanation for that level of quality, its just good to be able to see where Nas is coming from and apply his some of the thought to everyday life....

  • @BeenaBee True that. That line always jumps out at me.

  • beat is ill

  • nas is the real king of new york

  • @Mikeydro13 the king of Queens

  • this is the best chorus of any song, nas, method man, biggie, tupac, ice cube and krs one have left us with some of the worlds finest music and they play miley sirus and lady gaga on the radio? whens the last time you guys heard 10 crack commandments on the radio?

  • god bless nas

  • Biggie, Pac, Nas, Rakim > anyone

  • check out my channel...... the vid is World to Feel me.......im new to this... i just need feedback leave opinions plzzzzz.

    Get at me

  • this is how nas can get back to the essense of his former self. its easy; he already has a fan based of atleast 1 million sales;not to mention atleast 3 to4 million bootleggers. he could get away with using the producers of off illmatic. let pete rock make a couple more beats ,add the RZA and the Justus League for a newer edge .the fans are lusting for the illmatic sound in fact it would be better because his lyrics have advance immensely since 94 it always been his beat selection.

  • I like the old Nas the young Mrcus Garvey X Don Esobar QB Essence Nas

  • @RichyJA JHEEEZ.....ur a fuckin OG for that.. u couldnt have said it any piffer.. respect fam

  • 3 people dont like it when they're................. hiiiiiiigggghhh.

  • Where can we get all the nas shit? I mean i got all his released albums, but its so hard to find his mixtapes because most are fake and just mxied by fans, i want the real mixtapes. the only real mixtape i can find is pre-illmatic, the 1991 one

  • nas is mad dope on this one

  • Lost this when my computer crashed...........dope shit.

  • Jay has no flow. even though sometimes hes trying to say something really meaningfull the flow just wonders of and his fat lips jabber and thats the end of it. lyrically for me there is no comparison between these two artists. as no other two artists can bi compared. they make good tracks and they make bad tracks. support your man. dont hate!

  • People get so serious on youtube videos in the comments haha.

  • Where can i get this download?

  • @ Khaw, you made your point bout freedom of speech even though we are on a Nas vid and your basically saying Nas is trash and shit lol but it's all good. Back to the topic though...Jay did really well of adapting to the times. Even though he stopped being lyrical like that, he still had a nice flow.

  • And Illmatic is most likely the best HipHop album. Trust me Reasonable Doubt is def up there with some of the best albums and classics but I know die hard Jay fans who said that Illmatic IS THAT album. And I'm sry but there is a reason why Rakim is called THE GOD lol no diss to BIG or Kane.

  • Nas stayed true the HipHop culture. And you have to admit that Jay does come out with pop songs and and shit he don't need to be doing. Sales, money, material things have no relevance in HipHop. So which is why the whole sales n money argument for Jay will never slide.

  • I love this track.

@ Khaw, Yo bruh, I love Jay, don't get me wrong, he is nasty but on a lyrical standpoint, he's not touching Nas. Nas is a pure MC and I know Jay could do it and he showed that in Reasonable Doubt but after that, the closest he came to RD was in my opinion American Gangster. And I'm talking about hitting all levels of MC'ing. Jay even said himself that he thought RD was a classic but the sales didn't show that. So that's why he switched up and created a more mainstream sound

  • @nica4lyfe89 To me Jay is still the better mc, but I humbily respect your opinion my dude...

  • @KHAW8608 wtf is wrong with yuh my mans, comparing album sales to talent...smh just chyll out my nigga cause u clearly don't know how 2 judge music. and BTW Jay Z is the most overrated fucking rapper ever

  • Comment removed

  • @amvshooter The fuck is wrong wth u is the question bruh... When and where on here did I compare sales and talent? Never did... I made a statement saying that Jay sells more yes and that he is the best out. What do u need 2 sell records anyway? Talent. I'm not judging anything, I'm giving my opinion about the shit. And to me Jay is the best out since he's the most consistent rapper goin strong for the last 16 yrs sraight. So u chill the fuck out and relax cuz u clearly misread every fuckin thing

  • @amvshooter I said on here. And by the way... U gotta fucking stupid to say Jay is most overrated rapper ever when he's better than 99% of these niggas spittin then, today and possible in the future. Cuz since he retired in 03 and came back in 06, niggas still can't catch up to him! So get it rite and go do some research. Fuck outta here...

  • @KHAW8608 Yes, Jay is pretty fucking over rated.

Army of the Pharaohs - Outerspace, Jedi mind tricks, and many other are leagues ahead of him.

Nas is better than Jay, Big pun and many others.

Getting money and selling disks doesn't mean he's good.

  • @ngoc54 Back again homie??? Still talkin that Jay is overrated nonsense??? SMH. Jay is about to drop the Watch The Throne album with Kanye in a few months my man. And trust it's about to be a classic! Big Pun had skills yes I'll admit that. He's better than Naz 4 sure. I will say that. Eminem is better than Naz, those other cats u mentioned they better than naz 2. Jay is a league all by himself dogs. Best fucking rapper Alive! I don't give a fuck who put in ur list of who would be better than

  • @KHAW8608 Man NAS is the poet of hip hop

  • @fixy7 Be that as it may... But Jay-Z is the KING of Hip Hop... Nuff said!

  • @KHAW8608 Jay is absolutely the most influential Rapper ever and he always will be. Jay is ill as fuck man. throw in Jay and Nas when im hiiiiiiiiiiiggggggghhhhhhhh

  • @fixy7 At least we agree on something. Jay being the most influential in the game. To me he's the best but if you feel the same about nas then cool. LOL @ at the pun u made at the end of ur statement tho.

  • @KHAW8608 Yo it's NAS man, NAS, Niggas Against Society, just for that naz shit, u get no credibility here, why are u even on this page, it's clear what your taste in music is, nd this ain't it, u sound like the majority of these so-called HH fans who judge great HH music by record sales nd media marketing, go big Jay up on 1 of his vids, u ain't convincing nobody over here son

  • @shonha1 Yo I been off thisl ink for a minute and here comes the crying and bitching again! What the fuck is you niggas sad or something?!?! Between you and those other 4 niggas that came at me with the bull shit ya'll must be. The fuck... U upset cuz I'm speaking the truth? naz knows where he got that name from. It's from when Jay blasted his ass homie! U heard the songs! I love and appreciate great music dogs. Nas made it at one time but not recently.

  • @KHAW8608 Nobody bitchin but u, all I'm sayin is, big J up on 1 of his vids, is J breakin u off for trying to convince Nas fans he's king, all u mainstreamers talk about these niggas success like they payin y'all, "Nas ain't relevant no more" while sun could give a fuck what u think, he's busy doin him, look how many comments u have on a nigga vid who u consider irrelevant, but what u don't get is, wit all his success J is Nas's biggest fan, Distant Relatives drop, now J gotta drop a collabo Lp

  • @shonha1

"Distant Relatives drops, now jay gotta drop a collabo lp"

i didn't even think about that. he stays copying nas.

  • @RelaxednCaIm Dude you full of shit... Jay been doin collabos. Do your history. Unplugged with the Roots in 01. Best of Both Worlds with R. Kelly in 02 and 04 and Collison Course with Linkin Park in 04 as well. The hell are you talkin about? This is Nas's first callabo since the firm which came out in 97. And I said that cuz at some point some1 mite bring that up and say Nas did that 2. And it was garbage. But Jay was gonna do the Commision album with Big b4 that, that year had he not died.

  • @KHAW8608

uplugged and collision coarse were just remix albums really. of course jay wanted to work with r.kelly after nas did.LOL, and yep even more proving my point, of jay getting with big like nas got with az first. and if nas wasn't his motivation, why out of nowhere did he want to colabo album? and the firm album wasn't garbage, it just wasn't great. the firm has a lot of good songs that didn't end up on the firm album(like nas does as a soloist).

  • @RelaxednCaIm Dude... Jay's consistency is what kept him at the top of Hip Hop. Point. Blank. Period. His skills as a business man added to his overall career but the nigga was and is an MC first. No one has done as much for Hip Hop culture as Jay-Z has in the last 15 yrs. Jay's flow is second to none and lyrically he's been running circles around niggas heads for a long time. No one is fuckin with him lyrically. 8 consecutive years b4 retiring, came back to do it again and he's still running

  • @KHAW8608 No one is fuckin with Jay-Z lyrically? Are you on crack? I agree he's nice, but he aint been all that good recently.

  • @USuckMyMuthaFucknAss Nigga is you on crack is the real fuckin question. So appalled didn't have Jay rippin that shit like crazy? Fuck outta here!

  • @RelaxednCaIm things as tho he never left! Who Jay wants to work with has nothing to do with nas cuz as I remember the first collabo bet Jay and R was on The space jam soundtrack in 1996 in which R. Kelly featured both Jay-Zand changing faces. Then the next feature between them was on the R. Kelly album R in 1998 on a song called we ride. In which R. Kelly reached out... yet again. Do ur history. More importantly Jay and Big were friends b4 rap. they went to high school 2gether.

  • @RelaxednCaIm The firm album was garbage.... Matter of fact it was fuckin trash!!! Don't cover up the truth talkin bout it was not great! That shit was fuckin horrible. First sign of Nas fallin off rite there! LOL! Shit ain't been the same since. Jay did callabo albums because opportunities presented themselves for him to do them. It aint got shit to o with naz. Dont lie to urself with the bullshit dogs!

  • @RelaxednCaIm PS all ya'll niggas is bitchin bout a whole bunch of shit on these posts. Is nas breakin u off 4 sayin he dont give a fuck and he doin him and so on and so on? The fuck? it's conversation bruh. That's what we doing bruh. conversing. the song was aight. I made a post in response to something about it and some asshole took it from there, like the rest ya'll are months later. Distant Relatives was ok at best by the way. Best song was My generation. Luke warm perfomance by Nas.

  • @KHAW8608

distant relatives was good, but not great. my generation was not the best song. of course marley would sound better than nas on a reggae/african album. i knew he was going to. and like i said before, "victory" kills all recent and a lot of earlier jay-z verses.

  • @RelaxednCaIm Victory is an ill song but not the best out of everything he's dropped recently. Brooklyn Go hard was much better imo. But I will say they both kill what nas put out recenttly. Real talk.

  • @KHAW8608

first of all, there are many rappers with better flow than jay. about the firm, again, i don't think it was total trash, and even if u feel like that, it's not sign of him falling off, he wasn't the only one on the firm album. 3, brooklyn go hard is no where near as good lyrically as victory, and it's not that great of a song. it's just popular because it reps a burrough. and 4, i'll give u props for bring up the space jam soundtrack, forgot about it.

  • @RelaxednCaIm nas wasn't the only one on the album but he was the weakest nigga in it and on that album. AZ and Foxy especially ripped it alot harder than nas did for sure. Brooklyn go hard was a classic banger bruh.

"But if a man test my Stuy, I promise he won't like my reply

Boom Bye Bye like Buju I'm crucial

I'm a Brooklyn boy I may take some gettin use to"

Some of his best lines ever bruh... Listen again.

  • @KHAW8608

nas been writing foxy's lyrics. and az's better than nas lyrically so....

brooklyn we go hard is a classic now? best lines ever? lol

lol, i can name 5 rappers with better flow and a he didn't rip that album that well.

  • @RelaxednCaIm Nigga Fox had Jay writing for her 2 so what's ur point. Jay wrote better shit but that's niether here or there. Brooklyn Go Hard is one of his best songs ever. On top of that Blueprint 3 was the best Hip Hop album of 09. So what is you talkin about? Flow wise who you gonna put up to Jay? Ain't nobody out there. Nigga flows over any and everything smoothly. How many rappers can u say that for? Not too many. Jay got the best flow period.

  • @KHAW8608

brooklyn we go hard is not one of his best songs, and the blueprint 3 was not the best album of 09 at all. az has better flow than jay easy. and no wonder you think jay is lyrically better than nas, you think "if a man test my stuy, he won't like my reply, boom bye bye" are hot bars. victory kills any verse from the blueprint 3.

  • @RelaxednCaIm Brooklyn We Go Hard is one of the best Jay songs ever. I dont care what u say. AZ ain't on Jay level flow wise, or lyrically so u can stop that bullshit rite there. Blueprint 3 was the best HIP HOP album of 09. The entire brooklyn go hard song is fuckin fire not just those bars. Nas victory was aight. Jay's History is much better tho. Case and point. Jay is the better MC. Done. What we talkin bout shits on that victory song by the way... So do other songs from the Blueprint 3

  • @KHAW8608

jay'z better than az in flow and lyricism? LMAO

jay-z's history song is not as nice LYRICALLY as victory, maybe you like the beat better or whatever. forget nas, there are many others who are(or were in their prime) better MCs than jay ever was. he's not the best. jay was a good rapper with great beats, but not the greatest.

  • @RelaxednCaIm Yes Jay is bettter than Az lyrically and flow wise did I studder? Anyhow... Jay has proven time and time again why he's the best for the last 15 years. He's the best alive. No one is on his level in way shape or form. With the exception of maybe Eminem or for me personally DMX. But those are two diiferent stories. And they arebetter than nas 2 so naz is outa the picture. Victory was ok like I said. The beat was good, but my liking history more has nothing to do with the beat.

  • @KHAW8608

eminem is a better lyricist than nas, but dmx and jay are not. dmx was like tupac, lotts of passion but they lyrics weren't that great. but az, nas, rakim, eminem, kool g rap, big l, pun, biggie, common, mos def, talib kweli, ghostface, pharoahe monch, ras kass, raekwon, 90s prodigy, killah preist, etc are better MCs than Jay. jay-z is dope but not as nice as them. he was a contender for the best in 96 maybe, but not now.

  • @RelaxednCaIm My man... Jay already killed Prodigy lyrically so past or present he doesn't even matter. DMX gave nas the business on Grand Finale on the Belly Soundtrack. Pac was the second greaest MC after Biggie so I don't know what you're talking about. He was better than nas 2. Same with Biggie. Bun and L were definitely better than nas for sure same with Ghostface and Raekwon. I respect Mos and Kweli but they ain't better than Jay. Kool G rap is cool but not fuckin wit Jay.

  • @KHAW8608

no, biggies a tad bit overrated lyrically, but still better than jay. ghostface could be, raekwon no. all dmx did on the belly song was scream, meth>nas>dmx on that track.. tupac is the most overrated ever, i'd put jay above tupac. rakim is better than nas lyrically, so is pun. big l, no. prodigy between 94-99 is better than jay ever was. rakim gets to much cred for starting nas' style, early nas sounds more loke kool g rap than rakim.

  • @RelaxednCaIm Biggie is the greatest to ever touch the mic. The grand finale song had X flippin on niggas lyrically. Meth >nas yes but X>Meth>nas is more like it.... Big and Pac are the two greatest of all time and since they died Jay took over and ran his way to the top of the game regardless of who ever was or is trying to take that spot from him. Prodigy aint even fuckin wit nas so how the hell cud he be seeing Jay? Never! Takeover was even tho it came out in 01 is proof of that.

  • @KHAW8608

no, biggie s dope, and is better than jay, but is overrated. again prodigy was a better MC than jay in the mid/late 90s than jay ever was, but that picture at summer jam killed his confidence i will admit. prodigy was almost as good nas to me back in the day. on grand finale dmx was not lyrical, just loud delivery. and oh yeah i forgot, pharoahe monch would rap circles around jay.

  • @RelaxednCaIm Rakim gets credit fr birthing nas style of rap cuz he did. In 88 when paid in full came out it was a game changing album and in 94, when illmatic came out it followed suit with that same formula. of course Ready To Die was better and it still is. Prodigy was never better than Jigga. Stop lyin 2 urself. X was and is lyrical one of the most prominent and heart felt rappers of this generation.

  • @RelaxednCaIm Slick Rick was a bteter story teller than nas ever was. He inspired nas story telling shit..., Kool G cud shit on Nas but he aint fuckin wit Jay no way no how. Jay's been the best since Big and Pac died. Rats ass as I like to call him is garbage. Not on Game level like I said so dont he can be placed in the clas of greatness that is Jay-Z.

  • @RelaxednCaIm Scarface can and has lyrically handed nas the business on A favor for a favor on i am, and on In between us on the classic The Fix album. American Gangster was a classic. It was arguably one of the top 2 albums of 07 only possibly taking a backseat to Kanye's Graduation album. I'm infatuated with the truth and lettting it be known. And the truth is that Jay is the best alive. When it's proven that he's not, then I'll stop saying that. Until then, I'll say it proudly.

  • @RelaxednCaIm If ur so sick of arguing then stop posting. But hus remember Jay is the best alive. Point. Blank. Period.

  • @KHAW8608

on favor for a favor nas' last verse > scarfaces verses > nas' first firse. nas was better on inbetween us. american gangster was not top 2 albums of 2007, neither was kanyes.

wait a minute, i am being enlightened by god himself, you are correct. jay-z kills all rappers that ever came out!!!! all praise jigga man!!!! dmx is the second best tied with eminem!!! dmx is so ill it's crazy!!!! what was i thinking, god forgive me!!! blue print 3 was super classic!!!!!

  • @RelaxednCaIm You're being sarcastic with that last part but whatever. Jay is still the best regardless what you think or try to tell me so i dont care. Graduation and AE not being top 2 albums of 07 ur fuckin crazy what else wud u put? 50s album was crushed by kanye and there was nothing else that came out that sounded as good as tho two albums with the exception of maybe common's finding forever. And to each his own but for me Scarface was and still is better than nas.

  • @KHAW8608

no, you saved me, you converted me to the god mc jay-z. now i will go to heaven. i thank you so much.

    it da roc!!!!!

  • @RelaxednCaIm Funny ass niggas on youtube yo... LOL. Peace homie!

  • @KHAW8608

all these years i haven't been pumpin jay's joints out speakers, wow. i got some catchin up to do. forever young is a 10 5 rap song! if you look up the def. of classic, brooklyn go hard is in bold letters!

    HOLA HOVITO!!!!

  • @RelaxednCaIm Even more sarcasm on your end bruh, but it's cool. As long as you know u got some catchin up 2 do on some great music it's cool. LOL.

  • @KHAW8608

sarcasm? hell no. hello brooklyn FTW. blue magic is a classic. hell, all jay-z songs are classic!!!! he's far more lyrical than az and mos def!!!!

  • @RelaxednCaIm Aight dude. LOL. And yes Jay is better than them. LOL.

  • @KHAW8608

he's more lyrical than pun, canibus, and kool g rap put together!!!!

    THE GOD MC JIGGA!!!!!

  • @RelaxednCaIm canibus is trash... but he's better than g rap and pun wouldve definitely given him a run for his money.

  • @KHAW8608

LOL all are lyrically better than jay

  • @RelaxednCaIm lol. keep dreamin bruh. Jay's the best.

  • @KHAW8608

duke, the only people who can touch pun on the lyrical tip are underground rappers and eminem in his infinite - mmlp days. if you wanna argue jay as the best overall artist thats a better argument, but saying jay is the nicest lyrically is just laughable and extremely bias. he's not even close.

  • @RelaxednCaIm Pun is ill and I'm not disputing that. There are a few rappers I can name that are and were on Pun's level, including Jay and Em, Ghostface, Jada, Skyzoo, and Big L who is in my opinion better than Pun. And let's not forget Big.

  • @KHAW8608

jada, jay, big, big l, and ghostface aren't on pun's level. sorry. eminem in his early days maybe. idk why u'd even put jada in the arguement. jay is overall the best period...? lol, pun thrashes jay easily.

  • @RelaxednCaIm I put Jada in the argument for the same reason u put talib kweli, mos def, and everybody else in it. Big L is better than pun any day of the week. Big is the goat. Jada and Ghostface are up there with pun. Especially Ghostface. Jay is the best period like I said b4. Pun is nice and I ain't disputing that. Jay is better. Nuff said.

  • @KHAW8608 lyrically

jada is nowhere near any of the rappers we've been talking about. i don't even know how he gets mentions lol. big l can freestyle better than pun, but pun's writtens are better than big l's writtens and freestyles. you can post what you think is jay-z's best verse and i'll easily out do it with a verse from pun, nas, ghost, az, mos, talib, common, ras, g rap, rae, etc. jay's overrated.

i don't even see how jada gets into top rapper arguements.

  • @RelaxednCaIm Dude, Jada is better than rae and ghost 2gether. And nas 4 that matter. L is better than Pun period, written and freestyling. Say what u will about Pun cuz i admit he is competition for Jay, but Jay still better than him and everyone else that u mentioned. Especially AZ. I don't care what u tell me. JAy is the best period. Give me any verse by one of ur boys and I'll give a Jay verse that tears them down even easier than the way u "think" whatever ur thinking.

  • @KHAW8608

really, didn't know jada had quality records like "mo money mo murder" or "rainy dayz". i didn't know he made albums as good as "doe or die" or "OB4CL" or "iron man". the lox as a group is good, but jadakiss as a solo dude is not a great artist. he has one good album, and some nice mixtapes. AZ is known as one of the most consistant lyricists ever. "rather unique" is lyrically above any thing jada ever did by itself, and jay.

  • @RelaxednCaIm Dude, Why isn't ain't a quality record? Show discipline, Air it out, Kiss of death, Blood pressure aren't quality records? You're fuckin crazy! AZ has only one classic in Doe Or Die and Undeniable is his best album since. Kiss of Death, and Kiss The Game goodbye were fuckin fire! Rivals anything AZ put out. Jada is much more respected as an MC than AZ. Stood toe to toe wit Big, Jay, X, and Nas on some of the best records they made and held his own. Jada's verse on Reservoir Dogs

  • @KHAW8608

lmao kiss of death was good, kiss the game goodbye was blah. "mo money mo murder" shidits on all kiss songs by it's self. so does "gimmie yours" and "sugar hill", i could go on. az's verse on "executive decision" alone is better than any kiss verse. i'm starting to think you're a troll. just because dumb people who listen to rappers call themselves the best who aren't they believe them, it doesn't make it true. kiss is nowhere near top 5. he's not top 20.

  • @RelaxednCaIm LOL. Jada's verse on Reservoir Dogs shits on AZ period my man. Kiss The Game Goodbye was one the top 5 Hip Hop albums of 01. Better than anything in AZ's catalog. Doe Or Die possibly being the only exception. U the troll tellin me mos def is better than Jay. And that Jada is not a quality mc. U crazy... LOL. Even if Jada is not op 5 he's damn sure alot closer to that position than AZ is, I assure you.

  • @KHAW8608

his verse on resevoir dogs wasn't that great. doe or die is better than jadakiss's whole catalogue. and i did mix up jada's first 2 albums, thats my bad. kiss the game good bye was good, but not doe or die good. or pieces of a man good, or aziatic good. sorry. jada is good, but not top 20, and certainly not better than AZ lyrically. lol, no wonder you think jay's best. oh and mos def's verse on thieves in the night is better than any jay verse.

  • @RelaxednCaIm His verse on Reservoir Dogs wasn't great?! What the hell do u cosider great lyricism bruh? With the exception of Jay, nigga had the best verse on that song. AZ"s only classic album is Doe Or Die. Pieces of a man was jus like the firm album garbage ass shit! Aziatic copied the name from stillmatic and it was garbage too. Ya boy AZ's only good album atfer Doe Or Die was Undeniable. Kiss The Game Goodbye and Kiss Of Death shit on that and everything else by AZ.

  • @KHAW8608

it was a good verse but jeeze, not that nice. aziatic didn't copy stillmatic, its the word asiatic with a 'Z" instead of an "s" because of his stage name. nothing to do with stillmatic. and it was dope. haven't heard a kiss song as nice as "fan mail". kiss of death wasn't that nice man, sorry. those 3 az albums are easily better than any album kiss released. undeniable was his worst album possible.

  • @RelaxednCaIm That verse alone is better than anything by AZ. Like I said earlier Doe Or Die and Undeniable are his 2 best albums. Anything in between them was garbage. Haven't heard a AZ verse as good as Jada's verses on Blood Pressure.

  • @KHAW8608

those blood pressure verses were ok, nothing that impressive. i liked jadakiss' verse on Rdogs better than jay's, but still wasn't that great. not comparable to great AZ verses. AZ is higher than top 30, but not top 3 or anything, but much higher than jada. az's "your world don't stop" > all kiss songs musically and lyrically.

  • @RelaxednCaIm AZ is trrash to Jada dog. Sorry to break your heart. Jada's It ain't hard to tell freestyle is better than anything that nigga AZ ever wrote or spat. Jada's verse on Reservoir dogs is and will forever be classic... not better than Jay's but still classic!

  • @RelaxednCaIm The entire verse impressed me, but then again the entire song impressed me. Jada has all of what u talkin about and mean bars on top of that. Face is one of the most respected lyricists out. Vivid descriptions of stories painted on wax each and every albm. Pac made u feel what he was sayin and lyrically he had it. X is a crazy beast on the track that made u feel pain hunger hate and everything else that was raw and real. Lyrically he spoke volumes to me... I couldn't write what

  • @KHAW8608 they wrote cuz they have a distinguished style of writing as some of the most prominent mc's of all time. Especially X in my opinion. But I can see ur point of view as well.

  • @KHAW8608

to me face is a great hip hop ARTIST, maybe the greatest artist because he has no wack albums, but as straight lyricist he's ok. same goes for pac and dmx, they've made great songs, but not great lyricists. and their stories aren't vivid and cinematic to me. as far as jada goes, he's a good lyricist at best, not a great one. and kiss as an artist is just blah. he's not that creative, and doesn't have many classic songs.

  • @RelaxednCaIm I disagree with everything u jus said but 2 each his own. And Jada has a lot of classics songs, and freestyles, but then again I can say the same way u feel about jada, I feel about jada.

  • @KHAW8608

outside of his work with the lox, he doesn't have many classic songs as a solo artist.

  • @RelaxednCaIm a majority of his songs without the lox are cassics.

  • @KHAW8608

a bit of his first lp, a few from his second, and none from his last lp are classics.

  • @RelaxednCaIm Az only has one classic album period. Undeniable is probably the only album he has close to being a classic since that. And As far as the Last KIss goes.... Pain and torture, cant stop me, death wish, cartel gathering in which hehad the best verse, letter to big, come and get me and one more stp were classics on that album...

  • @KHAW8608

pieces and aziatic are easily better than kiss albums. letter to big was so generic and outdated. like seriosuly, dude died 97, he makes a song 12 years later, after artists have already done it. cartel gathering wasn't any thing near classic. and yeah he did outshine shitty rae and ghost verses. can't stop was iight, not classic by any means. death wish was more of a classic song for weezy than jada. one last step was good.

  • @RelaxednCaIm I'm gonna say this one last time... AZ's only 2 good albums are Doe Or Die and Undeniable. Everything else in between those were pieces of shit. Jada made that song in accordance with the movie Notorious. And on top of that, he already mourned BIG with We'll Always Love Big Poppa on The first Lox album on Bad Boy. Letter to Big was more of an update to BIG about what's been goin on recently in the game since he's been gone. That shit was classic Jada. If u don't like that,

  • @KHAW8608 lol not true at all....his 9 lives album contains perhaps his best track ever (despite being a mediocre album) - LOVE ME

if you an AZ head you cannot deny that...

  • @Octavi089 I refuse to get on this post again with the same bullshit... No disrespect towards you homie in anyway shape or form but I spent to much time on it. LOL. I'll say this for the song that u referenced... That is one of his best songs. But the album was trash. There are only 2 AZ albums that stand out to me that sound like something I can bump front to back without skipping. Doe Or Die and Undeniable. Dude is a dope lyricist and all, but a huge majority of his albums have been garbage.

  • @RelaxednCaIm I question your taste in music. All those songs were classics and ghost and rae had ill verses.

  • @RelaxednCaIm You're telling me 2pac's stories weren't vivid and cinematic? What?!

  • @RaiseEmUp

no they weren't. not like g-rap, biggie, nas, ghostface, etc, or even a newer rapper like lupe.
