I hope the full version of the game "plays" better than the demo. Not sure how to explain it, exactly, but the play itself fells ... stiff? Can't quite put my finger on it. Nice to see the game can use the Sega CD though for the enhanced music. Got the music disc burned, and waiting for the ability to play it on my Genesis.

This looks like a great game! shame it seems to always be sold out. I think it would be best if they made a port to a device that would allow it to be downloaded. It would be awesome to see this come to say the wii's virtual console or something like that.

@omnimon64 If a game (or anything else you buy) is sold out, then whatever price resalers can establish IS what it's worth. In economics, we call the point where sellers will not undercut and buyers will not pay higher a "going rate". This is how the value of everything is determined. However, the illegal availability of this game for free may cause the ebay price to go down. Also, the word "piraters" is a little silly. The term is "pirates".

Why should they sell rom's? As soonas 1 buys, it is then found already from many rom sites an such. How ever they just annouced that next batch for Reprin version is coming availble to purcace. Buy that and play the game in real hard ware as all the SEGA lovers. There is so much more great games for genny to buy later on sobuying 1 genny wont be a big deal.

Maybe they do. How the hell do you know that they don't? Believe it or not, projecting your actions onto others is a really skewed perspective on the world. Looks like an awesome game, and I'd love to play it. Unfortunately, I (and a lot of people like me) don't own a Sega Genesis or Sega CD, and I'm not interested in paying a ton of money to get one from a collector or something, so I'm not likely to ever get a chance to play this game, unless a ROM/emulator version is released, or they make a version otherwise playable on PC.

@henrym71 Dude check craigslist for a Genesis. I see them for $10 - $20 all the time. One day on Craigslist I got 3 Genesis' and 30 games for $30 bucks. And that's not like a rare thing I got 3 more genesis and a 32X and a few games for $20 a few months later. The Genesis just isn't in super high demand for the most part.

i'll order when i know this game is ready- sorry, but since it's missed it's deadline twice and it's been over a year since the last dead line, i'm not going to risk it (seriously, this was due out in 2008). then again, RPG's are pretty touch and go for me.

I really doubt this game is going to be dumped. It's absurdly large and most emulators probably won't play it. Someone will have to risk destroying their own cartridge just to release a rom. Not to mention, they probably put some sort of protection on it.

But it's your choice. I think a lot of people are going to regret waiting to purchase it though.

Battle kid for instance. After a week of being unavailable, it sold for over three times the price and it's not even a limited run.

That won't work, they've implemented security measures to prevent the ROM from being dumped. Also there won't be an emulator that will be able to run it, the game uses new technology.
