Coody/Berryhill/Smith Ancestrial Migration

My maiden name is Berryhill. Lucien was my grandfather, Kanawha my great aunt, and Alcy Ann Coody my ggrandmother. I have one of Kanawha's quilts and a copy of the photo in your slideshow in my living room. How far back have you traced the family history? I've only gotten back to Samuel Berryhill Sr. (Pops). Although, the Coody's intermarried with the Bass(e) family, which goes back to Jamestown. Love to share any family info you might have. Thanks!
