My daughter in law has family that lives there and they told her that the river changed it's course and it happens all the time.They will hear a huge explosive sound and then the river will be redirected. Don't know why this happens but the river is still there just in a different area.I do believe the world is going to go through a great time of sorrow before the end like Jesus said.

To tell you the truth I hardly felt any vibration from the quakes, but I did see the river disappear and couldn't sleep while keeping an eye on the mountain behind it, praying it would not disappear too.
