  • What is the compressor running on?

  • @battlefeild3airsoft likely a vehicle battery or a a generator.

  • what does this fire?

  • AWESOME

  • You sir are a true champion of men!!! That is a great design!

  • ok, now all we need is some airsoft planes and some airsoft bombs

  • I know this is soo cool but aint this going toooo far?

  • @AirSquirrel1 No, who doesn't want artillery support when you're getting pinned down ;p Just hope they hit the target and not you haha

  • @AirSquirrel1 Why would this be going too far?

  • @AirSquirrel1 / just like the real world, its an arms race LOL. this cannon is no longer in service as it has been replaced by a newer model, I will comment that it is used to fill mission specific roles, taking out vehicles providing cover fire or suppressing large numbers of enemy in the open it is also good for providing harrasing fire before an assault or for denying access to an area as defense. indirect fire has many uses.

  • @ZEUKI1

Im not going to bother with 'cost' and all that. Because that is not what my point is.

My point is the fact the more 'real' you try and make it, you might be better off actually doing it for real, and then you get the full package of 'fun'. I mean, the actual explosive, the cordite smell, the haze of smoke it leaves you shrouded in as the projectile arcs it way to the target.. and a big explosion...

Id rather actually fire a real artillery weapon than imagine the entire scene.

  • @AirSquirrel1 Well I never thought of doing it for real, let me just run down to the local sporting goods store and buy a small howitzer LOL. Im sure they will have something in stock.

I wont even bother with the cost either or the legality, because that is not the point. THE POINT IS to have "fun" with a legal device that wont kill anyone, and I just plain enjoy building things like this, especially when other people tell me how pointless it is. If its not your cup of tea, dont drink it.

  • @ZEUKI1

'indirect fire has many uses' - like missing the target and wasting ammunition . In Airsoft , the rate off fire would be -slow,. artillery units usually don't see there target, how are you going to know if you have hit them or not?

  • @AirSquirrel1

if you are trying to take a fort then this would be a valuable asset. you would need to have a squad report to the artillery where the shells are hitting via walkie talkie so they can close in on the target. or if you were defending a trench. then you could use canister shot against any advance or a solid round to take out a tank.

  • you should make rounds out of water ballons filled with bbs or something like that so they explode on impact

  • man, I'd hate to get hit with the actual round itself.

  • how far does this fire?

  • about 200 feet (Says in another video)

  • Actually this one shot closter to 200 yards, thats 600 feet.

  • sounds like it is a compressed air cannon basically, well done. only thing that could use some improvement is maybe having a different piece to load instead of having the barrel connecting to that, you know what i mean?

  • Why don't you build one and show him?

  • Well when i get a few extra dollars ill build one, shouldn't be too expensive in the money, and i got one set of the pipe needed sitting downstairs.

Should get one in the next two weeks maybe.

  • Dude how did u make that !?

  • @WeTeachYouThings no offense. I just want to point out the irony that WeTeachYouThings is asking about something.

  • incredibe man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wow! cool! can you please message me the blueprints. Please

  • Comment removed

  • Wat does it do..........is it when it fires it releases the pellets or does it release them in air

  • as for firing pellets, just put a wad behind the bbs, then fire it off and the wad will create a seal and send the bbs flying like a shotgun, Im trying to make a skirmishable airsoft cannon myself...the problem is, how do you make the air compressor portable instead of having to plug it into a wall? Did you just buy a gas powered one?

  • as am i but my biggest problem is that i want two kinds of shells... air burst and ground burst, if you have any ideas please help me out since i live in colorado i cant use fire works but the vinigar ruins guns if i try that

  • i have an idea about airburst shells

  • Well You can either get impact sensitive blast caps or something like that, or Proximity sensor, a timer hooked to a pressure pin system that pushes against the button on the back of a normal airsoft grenade.

  • I used a ball valve for a release system on mine, It allows me to change out air tanks.

  • Yeah I Was Thinking of making a Full M1 Abrams Replica out of like really light Aluminum or something and put the frame around a shitty car or something but I Was thinking of using a whole 20oz CO2 tank for each tank round and have each diffent type tank round one for the Heat Round which I dont know how to make yet but the Cannister Shot will be fuckin awesome to make I'll take a shit load of rubber paintbalss and fling them all out at once like a huge fuckin shotgun

  • Wow, you must be loaded with bills then...

  • HAHAHA Man I wish. Its A dream Im Willing to pay for though and the future is always an Inevitabillity so keeep ur hopes up

  • Maybe your right.

  • Another way is to use hairspray as a propellent. you can probably fire an airsoft gernade with it. Try!

  • hairyspray is the worst u use CO2 cartridges now stfu

  • can you shoot cartriges of pellets too? that way there would be a greater area of damage.

  • could u point this at players?????

  • Be better to point it at a tank. i saw the previous vid of this gun.

With its compact size (in comparison to military artillery) and easy movability, it would serve as a brilliant anti-tank weapon in my opinion.

  • please tell me how you made that

  • tell us how! Message me the blueprints.

  • Seems to be a pretty awesome device.

How far are those things flying?

    What psi?

  • thanks, in this video I am firing at 60 psi and shooting them about 125-130 yards

  • 130? Sweet! What were you using for ammo? Where did you get the info to build this?

  • u see the rockets go up, but y not down? lol it must be far
