@fraidwoodcesco Fender Stu Hamm Signature. It's unusual for a Fender b/c it has 24 frets instead of the usual 20, and it has both the Jazz AND Precision pickups with the 5-way selector from a Strat. Cool instrument, very versatile.
@younghatter The G major scale is just the notes G,A,B,C,D,E,F,G. If u watch his hand, that's what he's playing. Then the next scale starts with A. (abcdefga) and so on. Hope this helps.
I tried out the urge bass. What I didn't like is felt like the pick guard was way too close to the top of the neck. In other words, my picking fingers had absolutely no room to g once I plucked the string. Also the pickups raised about 3--4 mm from the pickguard.

@818KLOWNER I am also interested in that, but the only technique I know of are mnemonics, roman room method and the peg system. I only know of these methods, but I don't know how to apply these to learning music. Maybe you could use the roman room method to learn where the notes on the neck are, and then use another method for remembering the scales, chords and modes. Look for some memory books at the library and you will find more information about the memory techniques I'm talking about.
