One fact about the Flyers #15 Terry Crisp. He coached the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in the 1984/85 OHL season when the Greyhounds accomplished their perfect 33-0 home record, and guiding the Hound to their first ever OHL Championship. Advancing to that seasons Memorial Cup. The 33-0 record still stands 25+ years later.
Bobby Orr is the greatest hockey player of all time.Watched him from his rookie year to the unfortunate end because of injuries I was a Red Wings fan then growing up in Detroit. I have to tell all you belly aching Bruin Fans that was clearly a hold on Clarke who had a step on Orr.. The hardest working team won maybe not the best but clearly they outworked Boston and everyone else for 2 years. Stop crying for penalties it would not have mattered it was Destiny for the Flyers to win.Cant alterfate
@xyz0312xyz Orr was mad becuse just seconds before that he was mugged by 3 flyers and there was NO call, that the NHL for ya!! Im a Bruins fan and remember this series. Parent was unbelievable!
It's funny how Esposito and Bobby 'The Chief' Taylor are now with the Tampa Bay Lightning.
I've met both of them. It was pretty cool.

At the end he said "Tried to knock your brains out"...WTF!!
After watching this Vid. go to the 76 Flyers Vrs. Russia or USSR, then you will see one team trying to knock someone's brains out!
This was a picnic for both teams in comparison to what I would say was the dirtiest game ever played by one team, & got away with it!
But I would say 2 weak penalties to Boston in the 3rd, looks like they wanted to satisfy a Johnie come lately.

The penalty by Orr @7:42 is considered by many one of the most controversial calls in Stanley Cup playoff history.

@leafyutube Oh that had to be called. The hold was there.

@flapjackrabbit
Many disagree, standards were different back then. Holding wasn't called nearly as loosely back then as it is now. It's not as obvious as you think.

@leafyutube be serious orr made a great play on the puck, no way that is a penalty, total bull crap
