No, carding will not remove any seeds from raw cotton. These can only be removed by pulling them out by hand. Some people have had luck with using a pasta rolling device, rolling the cotton through it makes the seeds pop out. But it really is easiest to just pull them out by hand.

These handcards were made by Fricke. The brush area measures 4in by 5 in. I do not know the exact teeth count for the carding cloth, it is what I consider a fine teeth brush cloth. If I measure an inch on the brush cloth I count 7 teeth, with 6 teeth right below that. Hope that helps.
