Becareful what you say about yourself. You say when the whiteman used you as slaves but you are not a slave. You have let one word get so empowerd with all the ignorrancy of the world. I am African and black and I know what it's like to be treated like there is something wrong with you. But I all so know that all of us at sometime laugh at other people or call them names. As we grow wiser and older name calling hurts less.
Why are some black people obsessed about the protection of that word? Are we so blinded by the establishment that we are willing to accept any name given to us? Blacks in Africa would not STAND for internalizing that garbage because they know who they are!
Asians don't call each other "Ch*nk" in their music. Hispanics don't want to be associated with the word "wetback". Native Americans are no hurry to embrace the term "redskin". Why are black people so quick to defend the use of "N"???
I have been reading the comments on this video. My thoughts as a white person are this. It does not matter what the "original" derivitive of the word was. from the Egyptians meaning of god that is. What we know it as today is DEGRADATION. If a non black being uses that word, it is meant in hatred, pure and simple. The word will never ever mean anything but evil. WONDERFUL VIDEO.
Hell nawl! But what up dough? How are you young lady? You betta be doing right? Can you act? I need some actors and actresses. Holla @ me on Myspace or leave me a message on YouTube.
I don't give the word NOTHIN' cause I don't use the word. The word is what it is and I CHOOSE NOT TO USE IT! I choose to bless my people and not curse my people brotha man. I'm not going back to Africa regarding this word I am standing on the word of the Most High God regarding who I am. I am not a goddess I am a child of God, servant of the Most High, a friend of God, a warrior, a follower of Christ Jesus. I am an overcommer and I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me.
I REFUSE to call myself a nigga/nigger, bitch, or any other derogatory word that was inflicted upon us during physical slavery.
(The white man/white race is not my enemy. People are not my enemy). This word is doing nothing but harming my people. This word is keeping us down. Let's elevate and diminish this word all together.
Goddess, you give the word power to be negative or positive or the power to affect you. It's a word that Caucasian gave us just as Black "B-lack" ,Religion, and other. Truth is my love,do your research on the word and you will be very surprise. Our people need to stop giving attention to the Caucasian ways. WE need to go back to our original way of life and come out of Babylon and BE of the Most High. I love you mother of earth and Goddess of the universe. The Most High is within us, go look. luv
I completely agree with everything you're saying. Absolutely beautiful video.

everyone of every race should call everyone a nigga, because if everyone is a nigga then nobody is a nigga.
Destroy it through overuse.

Continue....
Maybe it's a spiritual connection that causes us to still use the word. What else could explain why we would, if it's really such a negative thing?
Read: Shaba Shabaka author of Nigger-A Divine Origin.
Over time, by the 1800's the word was turned into a racial slur. ( So I wonder sometimes, should we let the word go, or understand it better)
If white people understood it, I doubt they would use it so much.
Sahbisun 3 years ago
I believe we should let it go all together, for the betterment of it all.

I just wanna share what I know about the word "nigger". You might already know this,...
The word 'Nigger' came from the Khemit-Egyptain term for God. ( NGR or Netger) NGA means Queen, Niger original name for King in Ibo and Niger.
The root word NGR existed in ancient Egyptian Sacred writings and hieroglyphs...and has divine origin and meaning."
I do believe this is why so many can not break free from using the term 'Nigga' today. Perhapes it has something to do w/ lack of knowledge-
