I really wish these cartoons never went off air.. I remember coming hoime from school and turning the tv on and just sitting on the floor anticipating the BIG 4 Transformers, GI JOE and MASK.. With Transformers, G.I. Joe, Thundercats, and Masters of the Universe (for the second time, actually) being made into live-action features, why the heck not MASK? It has summer blockbuster material written all over it.

From what I've gathered, it's got something to do with the MASK title, there's some copyright problems with it. That's why there hasn't been a reboot of the franchise or reissues of the original toys since the line's demise. Although Matt Trakker has recently been added to the ranks of G.I.JOE with Hasbro's 25th Anniversary JOE toyline and from what I've read, depending on fan reaction, other MASK characters might be included in the line.
