Afghanistan does not produce any oil nor does it have any proven oil reserves. In 2010 rumors circulated that they found oil but no investors will invest in a war torn country. In reality the West and her allies are hoping they do have oil so it can expedite the process to pull out and Afghanistan can fund their own soldiers. And Iraq is currently shipping no oil to the U.S. I just thought I'd throw these 2 facts out there because so many ppl are claiming it's about oil.

@13elsyd13 How's that? Even if Iran had a nuke, we're able to shoot down ICBMs. The most it could do is threaten it's smaller neighbors like Bahrain with small "theatre" nukes (which is it's intent, btw.)
They'll probably never have a nuke, though. Israel tends not to fuck around, and they have a pretty good intelligence service. The second they can prove Iran is ACTUALLY trying to make a nuke is the second that facility gets bombed.
