Why do they build these V-Gate with just one stator one the top. If they had two or three at different points, then at least one is in contact with the rotor turning it. Having two or three stators still would not work. The V-Gate will never work no matter how well they construct it.

It clearly visible that the rotor slows down well before his hand touches it.

In my book this means he switched off an external power source a bit to early,

perhaps hidden below the table, and the rotor slows down before he can reach it.

In terms of this video, if there is no trickery, then the wheel would eventually stop rotating, there re too many opposing forces.

If there is trickery, its not likely to be video editing, (he moves the motor and it still spins) what is more likely is that there is an electromagnet off camera aiding the rotation. (possibly under the table- close enough to take affect?)

If this "motor" was in a frictionless environment, then (if started with an exterior force) it'll keep on rotating for ever and ever, but you must remember that you could never tap the kinetic energy.

Think of the 'V-gate motor' as a glass, and energy as water. If you push the wheel round you are adding water to the glass. If there are no opposing forces, the water will always remain in the glass, but if you try and take water from the glass, it'll become empty and the wheel will stop turning.

This is the same as slingshot maneuver trajectory, used as momemtum transfer in spacecraft by NASA. The electrons being in place of the planet, the proton being in place of the sun, the wheel replacing the spacecfaft and magnetic field in place of gravity. He is very careful to keep the background shadows and lighting as consistent as possible to make the video appear seamless. He does an excellent job at this but he makes one tiny slip-up around 1:32-1:33. Look very carefully at the right edge of the green paper background at 1:32 - 1:33. Just when you know he has to make his first edit, you can see a touch of remaining shadow on the green paper background go *poof* and disappear.

The time 1:32 - 1:33 is just after the first release and the white cam has nearly made one full revolution. We know that the rotor is going to slow down and come to a stop after one revolution. So somewhere at let's say 80% of the first full revolution, he has to do his first video splice to make it appear that the rotor is self-running. So he just missed getting his body far enough away from the setup so that no shadows would be cast on the green paper and there is your smoking gun.

some people may think that because it is regulated by it's own mechanism, the fact that it makes one full revolution means that it will keep going? which is like saying if you drop a ball, and dont catch it, you know it will hit the ground. because you've seen it happen again and again.

The discontinuity in the shadow is happening at the exact time he would have to do a video edit to fake the clip. He tried his best to make it perfect but he failed. There are also speed changes indicating video edits.

I'm going to have to say that the edit took place somewhere else, if there was one. He could've just been using Air. There's music overlay-ed on top of the video, so you wouldn't hear it.
