  • Baladi has to be danced like this, without too complicated tehnique... yeah, she is a little stressed but her dance is ok...

  • i thought this was baladi dancing. But really this is just cabaret to a baladi song :P

  • do you my mane mademoiselle???

  • she's got the technique down...but her moves here just seem really forced and a little too stressed. it would be fine if she relaxed the moves a bit...she's really not a bad dancer though.

  • Music is: "Solo Akkordeon" from Oriental Fantasy vol.2 by Beata & Horacio Cifuentes

  • She looks fit n like shes having fun. A beautiful woman is a happy woman. Belly dancing is great fun and a joy to watch!

  • horrible, pls watch Dina from Egypt n u ll see she is not doing it well.

  • e bom

  • it looks like shes practicing in front of the mirror she needs to look less at her belly and focus on the dancing she looks to stiff and you can she shes triyng a bit too hard ive seen worse as a dancer but i know she can do better she just needs to let the music get in her and move to the beat... :) not that bad though

  • the beauty of this is simply that it looks effortless. too much of the time belly dancers look like they're trying wayyy to hard, her shaking here looks like its a natural part of her movement. other than that, the music is very niceeee, but her lack of choreography and control of arms, etc. takes away from the performance. i'm appreciating it for what it is though: a good demonstration of hip/butt control.

  • It's a shame. That's nice baladi music but no baladi choreography. Many movements arms up high and other classical things, feet used on tiptoes. And no interpretation of the melancholy inherent in baladi.

Now I see that some people like it for being "light" but that's not baladi.

  • que musica eh essa ?

  • @Mayralam2009 A música é "New Baladi" do Mario Kirlis. É linda, né?

  • I don't understand the negative comments. Maybe it's because I'm a guy, but I find her beautiful and enticing. Her movements are graceful and feminine and I love her facial expressions. I suppose I don't know what belly dancing is all about but from what I've seen different cultures have different ideas about it. Especially the Russians, they do what looks to be more like folk dancing.

  • @49kasey yeah she's beautiful, but doesn't feel the music you see her thinking en doin her moves that she learned to do, and i can't call her movements graceful, but's thats mine opinion..

  • @JJustFreedom Okay, I think it's more like she doesn't know the music well enough to be with it rhythmically. Her hips should shake with the music but it's a sharp and sudden movement and she's not with it.

  • i thought she was very good and i really enjoyed watching her. so it just goes to show that not everyone is the same,

  • yes i know it is a baladi, but how can i get this song/music?

  • @NulleGilbro This song ist on one of the CD's of Beata&Horatio - just called Baladi Accordeon

  • @dasweib61

    Thank you !

do you have it on your computer? if you have, will you send the song to me on my mail?

    thank you !

  • super*****

  • hmm i think people just are too rude and her dancing is not look too bad ...is look nice....matter fact i would watch it 10 times....and there is sooo bad videos of belly dancing i dont know why all attack ....this looks good ..and she is not fat at all....well done girl...keep going ;)

  • what is the name of this song?

  • @NulleGilbro

    Baladi

  • What is the name of the song ?

  • what's the name of the song??

  • eeeeeeeeh, among all styles of belly dance ,,baladi is my cup of tea,, and this is hurting me.i dont like be rude, but baladi dont need to be so perfect technique but feeling and following music and rhytm is important this is not good... :-/

  • actually i disagree w/ u guys - i actually *like* her and i'm surprised by the comments! her isolations are very good, she seems to be enjoying what she's doing.. i give her a thumbs up for sure!!

  • wonderful dancer

  • Tell me please what the name under which the melody dance

  • @melikeit7 well... baladi is supossed to be improve but... with lots of emotion and passion!!! but I can't see any!!!! poor beautiful baladi... U_U

  • she is just like me when I pretend dancing LOL

  • i agree...

baladi é sentimento total!!!!! e não vi.....

    somente movimentos ......

  • This dance is not balady.

  • hahahha lol she is shit i know cuz i can do miles better than that!!! she looks like shes making it up???

  • She's not very good, but she's not the worst dancer here. I've seen worse things on YouTube...

  • She's not the worst i've ever seen... although she has everything to be good, nice suit, she's young, beautiful, her movements are right (no exactly coordinated with the music, it's true), but there's a lack of something, that "je sais pas quoi" of arabian dancing, specially balady, that makes it different from any other else. That's why i adore this dance.... you cannot pretend to have what u don't have, or, event better, to feel what u don't feel. In other words: you cannot lie.

  • egypchian crap .

it makes me feel nauseated .

  • People who are reading I'm sorry, but I have to agree with the last comment made by rychousmama. comment is a direct and real

  • l love how she dance lm a belly dance all so and l think she have so harmonie with the movments so balady is not easy but she doing well. Gamila Gamel

  • For me baladi is one of mos tbeautiful parts of belly dance and this is really crap, baladi should be more emotional then technical, and she just to ,,steps,, of belly dance but not dancing at all.

  • beautiful costume and music!

  • Already has loads of beauty, and lots of promise to bloom into a really good dancer. Keep working on it! There are so many fabulous instructors from ALL over the world to study with.

  • first they try to steal our land, they lost the fight, and now she's trying to dance our dance.......sorry girl it looks like crap!

  • Is it just me but does it seem that her moves are very stiff looking?

  • wow........

  • This was a waste of time. This video should be renamed "A disgrace to bellydance."

  • the name of this balady pleeeassse

  • The beladi should be a building of the dance....she starts out way to harsh. Honey....please listen to the music. Also....work on your arms.

  • @bj27filly I agree completely, she also needs to work on her body lines, especially with her hip circles. Her arms just hang there and it doesn't look very pretty.

  • you can move, but listen more to the music to which you r dancing...me too i think you need more emotion for this kind of dance

  • I think that this time i payed attention to the music asdasdasdsadasd xD

  • Israel? So is this a JOOISH person? I didn't not enjoy her dancing. She seems kind of learning disabled here or something.

  • What is this?

  • None of us are experts right off the bat. Instead of being rude let her know where her work needs improvement.

1: Follow the beat by ear or count the steps to stay in sync.

2: Set times you follow the base or follow the melody. Switching back and forth too fast looks sloppy and confusing.

3: Many tiny subtle movements are going unnoticed because of that tight costume and heavy fabric. One with a short bead trim and lighter fabric would showcase this dance much better.

    Good Luck!

  • @Dreammystic :

Thank you, your comment is full of goodsense ahd helpfull for all of us who try to dance :) like an egyptian and - most of all - is not offensive.

ps: I am not the dancer :)

  • uno de mis favoritos genial!

  • umm... blech.... yea that about sums up how i feel...

  • the isolations are there but no rhythm alot of women do that when the long instrumental thing comes in they just do upper hip 8 to interpret it theres mucccch more u can do

  • berbat..... bence...

  • @sheikarab thanks for posting but this choreography and dancer lack of grace and music-movement coordination. Just look at her arms, they are lifeless!! If you are talking about Little Baladi" by Mario Kirlis, let me tell you, I respect this musician a lot. He is good interpreter and wonderful composer. Plus, when Saida dance Little Baladi, I know it is a fusion, she does with tremendous emotion. She looks much more alive than this girl Gul.

  • linda bailarina além de ser muito classica!

  • She did fine, o.o

  • @XxDeathxofxDawnxX for anyone who really knows baladi and saw talented dancers, no. she s*cked.

  • I looooooove that music!!! :D I think we use it in my baladi class one time... It's too fast for now but one day I hope can dance on it. ^^ (by the way, she really need practice her camel... if she continu like that, she can hurt herself!!!)

  • I don't agree with the comments. I think she dances for the song like for a drum solo. This is a DRUM solo, if nobody can see it!! I mean, she presents the music as drumsolo. And there is very precise movements.Good isolation. And a drumsolo not just kind like in evolution dance, like dum-dum-dum-dum-dum dididididididididididi. I like this video.

  • di 3ndha ma3's fe batnahaa

  • if you really want to see something to hurt your egyptian eyes check out "maria danza del ventra"

  • to rychousmama, could you be more specific? in what way does she not interpret the music correctly. i think it looks pretty good, maybe not perfect, but certainly not horrible. i know its probably difficult to articulate here but i would be interested in your critique.

  • @gypsijewel uhh i'm with rychousmama she even didn't feel the music just move her body that's not baladi or any kind of dance[don't mean to be rude]

  • You should watch her other performances!!!!!!!!!!! She is a great dancer, also keep in mind belly dance has various styles!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • beautful music! but she can´t dance!

  • OK, this is the best i have seen, read the comments, and i'm guess ing they are working for add companys. this women holds the light for me. check the hip, and bells. not that i like women or anything, but she is the she to convert me!!!

  • well... i'm a gay man, and have to say her dancing, shanking that hip. i want to try women. where do i find ... maybe rychousmama can help. belly dancing but not westerners

  • I'm sorry, this should be renamed "how much can i shake my belly role?" LMAO! Really, this is not flattering! I'm not hating, just stating a fact. lol.

  • well she is a LOT better than the egyptian dancers i saw at weddings. ive seen weddings that hired a couple girls who had to have weighed nearly 200 pounds each. ive seen your blessed egyptian dancers with bicycle shorts and a sports bra as the costume... complete with horribly bruised thighs. these same dancers had two steps the 'side to side sway' and the 'step kick'.

this girl is far from fat but it does look like she had a baby at some point.

  • @khunabah

What's the harm in a woman having had a baby? This is supposed to be the dance of femininity, and there's nothing more feminine than using your body for what it was made for, i.e. making babies

  • @irmar

im sorry but i think you misunderstood my comment... or at least the context. ;) there were a bunch of people on here saying the dancer was fat and stuff. my comment was merely to point out that not every dancer back home was as great as they remember. the comments regarding her weight were silly because she is certainly not fat. it does appear she had a baby at one point but that, as youve said is a normal part of life and shouldnt be held against her.

  • just boring....

VIVA ALGERIE!!

  • I really hate to be rude here, and I usually don't comment on things I don't like online, but this choreography is hurting my Egyptian eyes and sensibilities. This is by far the most UNgraceful and UNcoordinated bellydance I have seen on youtube, if anywhere. She does not even remotely understand the music, let alone the dancing. I seriously cannot believe how out of sync she is with the music. I know real bellydancing, and real dancing, when I see it! Ya Rabbee!

  • I understand your comments--but there's MUCH worse stuff on here, sadly. If you're ever in for some self-torture, watch more--it will shock you.

Everyone who learns a few steps & has a costume thinks they're a dancer but they don't. understand the music or movements. I can't watch dancers that are not from the ME, except for a very few. I know the difference too well!

Authentic dancers show their heart; the rest show their movements.

Shokrun (Egypt) for your beautiful music & dance.

  • @rychousmama Most belly dancers unfortunately are like that. They dance just to dance - they don't feel the music. :/ The best belly dancers are from Egypt imo - like Dina. :)

  • @rychousmama lol i was thinking the same thing, i was getting tired for her. she does not coordinate with the music. it's pure technics.

  • @rychousmama I don't think she's out of sync at all o.o although she could bring more feeling into the dance, but she's got the basics, she isolates well...and interprets the music.

Getting real sensuality and expression takes years of practice or a huge amount of talent. So I wouldn't judge too quickly.

  • @rychousmama agreed!

  • @rychousmama I cannot agree with you more.

  • @rychousmama aiwa ya aaaam we7sha awiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

  • @rychousmama

the technique is decent, but the performance aspect needs work, agreed.

  • @rychousmama Come on - don't hold back - tell us how you REALLY feel.

  • @rychousmama Please post one of your videos - Especially the one who wrote this. I'd like to be clear on how your "Egyptian eyes and sensibilities" were hurt. I am a BOCA dancer. While her moves somewhat choppy, she kept in step with the music, which SOME of y'all can't seem to do; she smiled and obviously posted it as she felt it was her best. She didn't understand the music? What's that mean?!!!! I will wait to see your video! ;)

  • @rychousmama She's no pro, however, please post one of your videos - Especially the one who wrote this. I'd like to be clear on how your "Egyptian eyes and sensibilities" were hurt. • @rychousmama if is hurting me as a romanian i can not imagine how you feel as an egyptian , she seems to be made of wood and just follow the drums

is offending the egyptian belly dance :)

  • @rychousmama A Baladi isn't supposed to be choreographed. It's spontaneous.

  • @rychousmama - I agree. I'm Egyptian and this sucks.

  • @rychousmama ; I agree. I do not have Egyptian eyes but this is like a farmer who is trying to dance a tango. And absolutely not a compliment to this great music.

  • She's graceful pace!

  • are you kidding me?

  • go away nasty boy!

  • and since she seems to be fairly new at this, maybe video should be submitted with comments disabled, cuz there are a lot of MEAN people on YT.

  • title should be egyptian STYLE baladi--and whoever thinks she's fat definitely would not like MOST authentic ME dancers. The best ones have something to their bodies (like this pretty lady), which makes it FAR more interesting and enjoyable.

  • LOL she is not fat at all for God's sake, she is very pretty. But...please, she has no clue about dancing. People are not bad or evil just because they express themselves. We live in a democracy, so we say whatever we want. She doesn't know how to dance, period. Plus she is not new to this, she has an instructional belly dancing DVD. Would you buy it ? maybe yes, it is your choice.

  • I liked your dance. I'd say less stiffness in the upper back and shoulder and maybe a little more soul. However, you looked like you were having a good time and that's important in baladi. I'd like to have seen a more appropriate costume for baladi though. You're costume is beautiful but a galabeya costume just looks better with baladi.

  • amazing!!! wooow congratulations!! bravo!" mabrook

  • she danced without emotions

  • oh my god what is this song? it makes me wanta dance!

  • Primero lee bien mi comentario y luego opinas.

    jajaja ciao!

  • doesnt she look abit like yasmina of cairo????? (the dancer)

  • You never see mee and i no fat honey...And her i dance verry good Baladi and my face say this!!!

  • Comment removed

  • No good need more soul in this dance.

  • I don't know where the hell where you're from, but the dancers in Egypt aren't super skinny. Honestly, a little fat on the belly is celebrated. It accentuates the vibrations of the shimmies and makes the hips bigger. You're shallow. This girl is not fat.

  • @Charyaa...fitness fanatic ay? lol honey i bet you cant move your muscles the same way this chick can or any bellydancer for that matter...belly dancing is no easy and is defiantly not for the unfit. So with that said she is damn HOT! Baby phat is sexy...PEACE!! =) ) xoxo

  • @urburning All right man Alright! I give up, I am worng, please forgive me!

  • The music may be egyptian, but the coreography is NOT egyptian at all.... this is bellydancing that would like to be baladi without succeeding....

and last but not least: this costume is for bellydancing, egyptian baladi requires a gallabeya and a veil (taha) to cover the head.

  • That sucked.

Dejate llevar.

  • what a woman

  • v. nice :) ;p

  • i agree with jukcoder cute outfit though

  • a mi no me gusto nada.

  • Mediocre apart from the music

  • Sensacional... !!!!!!!

  • she is bad

Arabesque Café and Shisha Hookah -Lebanese cuisine

  • Love the piece of music! Anyone know what it is?? Please!!

  • she is really good!!!

  • Belly dance is a western term and there's been many talks as to where it derives from, the name beledi or as some of the movements are from the torso, so it covers a wide range of 'middle eastern' dancing and over the years each country has evolved their own style. I think it's a great form of dance for everyone to enjoy. :-)

  • beledi is arabic for "of the land or country" ; beledi belly dance means "folk style" that the egyptian people in the rural areas danced. Beledi could also mean country people. I would call this cabaret more than beledi. there is also an arabic rhythm named beledi as well that is quite common.

  • it is just same as indian nor arabian dance.......

  • Sehr schön getanzt!!! Bravo!!

  • what is not arabic culture?Belly dancing was orginally from Ancient Babylon in southern Iraq. The women of the Adnanite Arabs who are the descendants of Ismael son of Prophet Ibrahim who was from Babylon improved the way of belly dancing and men improved the way of drumming. The drum beats people hear today are the same beats that the Arab tribal men used" read before talking

  • nice ass

  • She is so beautiful to watch, lovely dancer

  • I think she's a good dancer and she's not fat

  • HAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHA talk about living in denial and delusions....wooooww...someone needs to brush up on their heritage...greek bellydancing ya...I agree with you there..it's part of their culture..but PERSIAN??!!! Since when do you guys even dance..hahaha...last time I checked persian dance consisted of flaling your hands about and kicking your leg up..sorry bud..but that aint' belly dancing ahah

  • Persian dancing is a lot more challenging than people realize. but you'd have to be educated about it to know that. No, what we usually call "belly Dance" is not Persian but the two cultures have borrowed a lot from one another. there are some really good Persian Belly dancers. BTW it's only in the last 30 years that Dancing has been outlawed in public only. they still dance at home and are fighting & dying as you can see on the news, to regain their rich cultural heritage. It's not a joke.

  • Does anybody know the title of the Song? Thanks!

  • "new baladi" Mario Kirlis

  • hey, i finally got the song that all of us were wondering which one is it! if anyone wish to have it contact me! salam=)

  • Yes please, would love to have it!

  • I love everything! The costume, the music, the choreography and the dancer is amazing!
