  • Wow that was fast n looks great!

Dont they get messy if you go to bed soon after that?

Does the top coat u use help to dry them completely and fast?

  • @tazzy801 seche vite dries them very fast =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues I should try then!:)

Will check to get it from somewhere online since we dont get them here.

    Thanks!

  • how do u get ur nails to be long and strong

  • @ladiealex2006 I keep my nails moisturized, lots of lotion & cuticle oil & I also take a biotin supplement – check out my Nail Maintenance vid in the Tips & Trick playlist for my full routine. I do occasionally get a tear or break but you can check out my tutorial on silk wrap patching for how I save those nails =) I do "Naked Nails" posts on my blog every month or so where I talk more about like all the specific products I'm currently using.

  • Very pretty!!

I found that when I do mine this way, I dry the first coat of color then apply second coat with the drops and swirl them. I dont use a toothpick or marbelizing tool ( might leave bold spots) but a very fine thin brush. No bold spots guranteed!! ;)

  • OMG these are gorgeous!! Can you please give me some advice on how to get nails that long and strong? Thanks a million! xoxo

  • THAT IS SOO COOL/ INTERESTING! X$ I've actually never seen thi sbefore :p Definitely gon' try this when I have time ^_~ Thanks so much~

  • Hi Ms. Colette, I have a question. How come when you did your Aqua Swirls and your Red and White Hearts Drag, do you have to start with your nails dry with a base coat then do the swirls, or can you prep your nails first then do it? Just a thought.

  • @BriaCoolio well, the base coat should be dry, but the base color needs to still be wet =)

  • you really need to go to bed and yet you have to do your nails first, that shows how dedicated you are to your nails i love this nail look i will try it out deffinetly.

  • Verrrryyyyy good ^^ u say and alot xD lol

  • A detailed nail art brush works better than a tooth pick

  • Thx I love this style of nail art.

  • OMG this is so beautiful

  • wow.. How is it possible to have such long nails?

Now seriously, how do you do that??

  • @LouiseGlamz I keep my nails moisturized, lots of lotion & cuticle oil & I also take a biotin supplement – check out my Nail Maintenance vid in the Tips & Trick playlist for my full routine. • @LouiseGlamz my nails are almost as siz of that n i knoww some people jus say this bu i u shod try getting a green tea nail fortifier its wat i use

  • Thx!!! Cool!!! Also, you have probably heard this before but you should make a video on every single nail polish you have.... It would be really cool!!! =D

  • @25weissguy there are some pics on my blog =) I don’t know when I’ll get to a vid but in the right sidebar there's a dropdown in the right sidebar for my labels - look under the tag "my stash" & I think it's the 2nd post that will show up

  • oops i didnt mean to put the A at the end lol

  • @MySimpleLittlePleasures Thanks so much your advice was very helpful I watched your short nails tutorial and found it very helpful as well. I actually am starting a nail art channel of my own on a different account and I will comment on a video telling you the name of my channel. Thanks sooooooo much I love watching your videos keep making more!!!! I actually have 2 ideas for some videos: Can you make a water marble tutorial using neon pink polish, neon yellow polish, and neon green polish? A

  • @25weissguy I'll add those colors to my request list =)

  • @MySimpleLittlePleasures I have really really short nails... Are there any tips or tricks for short nails? Also, I find that China Glaze polish works really well in marbling, compared to others. Like the other brands I have tried don't even spread or they get goopy... What are the best brands for marbling?

  • @25weissguy if you have short nails you get less of the design, so it's important where you dip your nail- check out my short nails marble with my mom as hand model for tips =) there really isn't a best brand though, every color is different & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work best– the colors I use are always listed in the information box. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH

  • @MySimpleLittlePleasures I am a huge fan of your videos and I have learned sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much from them. I actually water marbeled my nails for the first time on Friday night and they came out gorgeous!!! I used 2 different colors, China Glaze White on White and China Glaze Cowgirl Up. I love watching your videos and they have really helped me. Keep making more!!!

  • wow. That is extremely simple for how gorgeous they turn out. Love them.

  • These look so cool and easy!! I haven't tried but I really want to!! Just 1 question is does it have to be a room tempature water? If so why? Also what kind of cup do you use??

  • @kddolphin12 this vid is drag marbling but I'm guessing you're asking about water marbling - polish will not spread as well in cold water – you can check out my water comparison under the Tips & Tricks playlist in the information box to see the difference =) I use a 5 oz paper cup

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues Great thanks so much!!:) And yes I did mean water marble sorry!!

  • Does the first coat of manicure have to be completely dry ??

  • @Lyndaa0911 no, for this design it should still be wet =)

  • It will work with different colored dots like it wouldn't look weird or anything right ?

  • @BeautyKillerMF you can use whatever colors you like =)

  • Does it mater what paper you use? <3

  • @MrGalaxy789 no

  • where do u get a dotting tool?

  • @PokeMeTender some of mine are from Sallys, some from online =)

  • how do you do your nails and then go to bed?? seems like if i do miine and then go to bed i ALWAYS wake up with smudged nails with fabric imprints in it =(

  • @quiltyfox my top coat seche vite dries everything fast =)

  • some nail polishes when i drop the nail polish down it doesnt spread and just stays there as a dot

  • @chordoverstreet1419 Are you using filtered water? Also keep in mind that not all polish works - the brand doesn't really matter but every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • WOW XD

  • your nails are so long!mine are just so fragile..ew

  • That's so cool and pretty! I like the colors

  • gorrrggg...what do you use on your nail's to grow..I got mine pretty long...they broke im soooo not happy about it..I ran out of my strengthener that might be whhy..lol need to go get some more but just curious as to how u take care of your nail's..

  • @MiZzRiVeRa86 I try to keep my nails moisturized, lots of lotion & cuticle oil & I also take a biotin supplement – you can check out my Nail Maintenance vid in the Tips & Trick playlist for my full routine. I do occasionally get a tear or break but you can check out my tutorial on silk wrap patching for how I save those nails =) I do "Naked Nails" posts on my blog every month or so where I talk more about like all the specific products I'm currently using.

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues ok very helpful, thank you!I need to get some cuticle oil..i have to watch that silk wrap tutorial..is that expensive to buy?

  • @MiZzRiVeRa86 no, just a few dollars & lasts quite a while =)

  • Wait... those are your real nails!? How long did it take to grow those? I have a habit of biting my nails so i couldnt grow them very long haha.

  • @PrettyPatra I pretty much maintain them long, but they grow about 1mm/week =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues when science is speaking i researched that your nils grow 1 mm a day even thiugh you don't nohice it . in 100 days your nails will be 1 cm . 1mm a week is very slow for normal nail growth .

  • @NavneetPeace your math is faulty somewhere - there are only 10mm in a cm. so in 100 days your nails would be 10 cm at that rate LOL.

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues haha ops my bbad not that awesome in math !!! tnx

  • Did u get the doting tool at Sally's??

  • @s8rgurl1018 I have several, one I did get at Sallys & the rest online =)

  • R these your ideas..?

  • @brittneyfunny yes, although I do get inspired from other bloggers sometimes =)

  • I did it to i love it !

  • hi i love ur videos and this one looks awesome! ur nails look so good!

  • looks amazing, and it's turned to be so simple, i love it :-D

  • Wauw, nice!

  • Love it super pretty easy & quick ! : )

  • Your nails .. There so long I'm am jelous :( .. Love your videos soo much

  • where did you buy that circle thingy at?

  • @Roseline225 do you mean the dotting tool? some I got at Sallys, some I got online =)

  • Have you ever applied fake nails?

  • @ChasterrChay646 no =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues the polish is too sticky to work with once i use the tooth pick to move it

  • @MrsBieber4ever2098 then you need to find other colors that dry slower =)

  • sad it didnt work :(

  • @MrsBieber4ever2098 what problem are you havign? both colors need to be very wet to be able to swirl them together =)

  • it;s really easy to do it on big nails... But i dont think it would be that goood at small like mine :/

  • @popareova if you have smaller nails, try using fewer dots, or a smaller dotting tool =)

  • IM SO HORRIBLE AT THISSSSSSSSSSS :(((((((((((

  • That's so pretty!! I think I'm going to do my nails like that once my current manicure chips off

  • Could you get the dotting tool at a craft store?

  • @stardog341 I don't think I've ever seen them at the one near me, but I suppose some might carry them =)

  • is it ok doing two coats when the other coat is still wet? I'm normally scared they'll smudge if I do that =D

  • @xrainbowmintx yes, you just have to use a light touch =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues thanks XD

  • That's really pretty!

  • Do you always paint your nails before bed so that they dry in the night? I've tried that a few times but my nails tend to get smudged in bed if I do that.

  • @meadowfrance I do usually do them before bed, but I use Seche Vite & it dries them so fast I very rarely ever wake up with smudges =)

  • Not to be rude but I was just wondering why some nails are straight and some kind of splay to the side..

  • @fierceincluded *shrug* that's just the way they grow =)

  • Awesome luv you bids how do come up with these designs?

  • @britishtea07 I don't really know, I always hace tons of ideas =)

  • I swear. i can't do water marbling. I suck. :(

So i just bought a Konad set. But it would be better if i knew how to water marble then add more designs with the use of Konad. :)

  • wooo amaizing, thanks for showin it, i love your nail, how do you care them?

  • @MONTANOMARILU you can check out my Nail Maintenance vid for my full routine =)

  • the first/light blue nail polish you put on... what is it called??? the color and the brand?? I wanna get it, such a pretty color

  • @passion4fashionlala all the colors are listed in the information box =)

  • rly smart n nice design

  • whats that dotting tool u use..... this design is soo cute??

  • @missjoaquin4now it's one of a set of three that I picked up online =)

  • Hello Colette!

This design is so cute. I tried it myself and uploaded the video. Ofcourse I have mentioned you (in the vid and in the description).

Mine is not as good as yours, ofcourse, but Ilike it anyway.

So thanks again for all these awesome tutorials :)

  • How did you learn to do it so well? did u have professional training or something? because you are amazing!!

  • @twilightFREAK3620 it's just a hobby but I've had a lot of practice =) I've been blogging for over 2 years

  • OMG! i totally tried this when i first saw it and all my friends we like thats sooo cute! i love your designs!!!!♥

  • What a great idea. Have u ever done it with multiple color dots on top?

  • @lllelly316 I have, but unfortunately I didn't record a tutorial for it =( But I'm going to be doing more drag marbling soon =)

  • Who would have thought that was so easy. Thnx for the vid. : )

  • Is that your own nails?O:

btw. its really nice, i tried it. ^^

  • @Triinie yes, my nails are natural =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues wow, ehe ther'e beautiful (:

  • You're so goood at this :)

  • What do you use as a top coat and a base coat?

p.s. i saw one of you water marbling videos and immediately tried it. It turned out great and my friends loved it. Thanks :)

  • @TurtlesOnAFence The base coat I'm using right now is Nail Life Gripper, and my favorite top coat is Seche Vite =)

  • how old r u? ppl who live alone dont say LOL? but nice nail design!

  • @JustinRockBiebs I'm 29 - and although I don't live alone, I think at this point nearly everyone uses LOL =)

  • Pretty-ful!!

  • man..so simple but yet outstanding results..thanks again collette, you know what ur doin..lolz

  • what if your nails are already painted and u marble on top of that color?

  • @shortyinky you'll get a totally different look - the colors don't flow together the same if the base is dry =)

  • WOW! This is so amazingly beautiful and simple. Thank you so much!

  • I think this is nice for toenails as well, as it's kinda impossible to dip your toes in a cup of water for water marbling. Thank you for this tutorial~!

  • @meloochan I agree - although I do have viewers that have managed to water marble on their toes somehow =)

  • oh my gosh those are so pretty : 3!

  • Thank You

  • This is just soo lovely :) I dont have those colours , but I tried it out using black and gold, and red with darker red . Thank you !

  • But how come some of my polish wont work in marbling? What brands do u prefer?

  • @computergurl12 for water marbling, there really isn't a best brand, every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • Wow just so amazing :)

  • UR AMAZING where did u learn this from

  • @computergurl12 I read about it on several blogs before I tried it myself =)

  • exellent!

    thank you so much :D

  • Beautiful nail polish! I wish I had your nails.

  • Super, very nice combination!

  • hi great video! Can you make a tutorial for pedicure using water marble?

  • @lovincutesutff Hmm, I'll add it to my list, but honestly I don't know that I'd ever do it on my toes - I've had a few viewers do it sucessfully but it seems like it would be pretty messy =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues thanks anyways!

  • Loving it.

  • wowow you are a genius!! Wonderful creation!!!! Very very nice application tecnique!!! ^__^ Fantastique!!!! Byeee

  • question could you use the nailpolish named depend ?

  • @Roxy8409 I've never used that brand, but as long as it doesn't dry super quick it should work fine =)

  • @Roxy8409 I've tryed a couple of times, but the polish drys too quickly, making it impossible to even add more layers in the water.

  • beautifullllll

  • bellissime!

  • i did this in black&whitee & it looks AWESOME!

  • Question... how do you take care of your nails? They're so long! I always try to grow my nails out like but they keep cracking :-(

  • @jules892 I try to keep my nails moisturized, lots of lotion & cuticle oil & I also take a biotin supplement – you can check out my Nail Maintenance vid for my full routine. I do occasionally get a tear or break but you can check out my tutorial on silk wrap patching for how I save those nails =) I do "Naked Nails" posts on my blog every month or so where I talk more about like all the specific products I'm currently using.

  • thats very pretty :)

  • how long does that take to completely dry? i know even when im painting my nails normally i sometimes have thick areas on my nails and i go to bed then i wake up with the imprint from my blanket or something! haha i hate it!!

  • @zaqwertify I actually went to bed right after I recorded - I always use Seche Vite & it dries everything very fast =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues - Thanks for replying! :) Really you went to bed right after? Im always so scared haha i have the worst luck i always have to paint my nails in the morning! I should give that stuff a try I've heard good things about it, thanks!

  • Very pretty!

  • that's very nice!

  • Where did you get your dotting tool? Don't laugh at me if it's a dumb question...LOL!

  • @Miss2000Diva I got it online but don't remember where ... transdesign maybe. They sell a few sizes at Sallys also =)

  • Liked it very much Im gonna see if I can make it in pink for Valentines Day

  • @justgoofinaround20 there are several site for both the name brand & generic plates linked in the Konad FAQ blog post =)

  • this is beautiful, I love it!! thank you!!

  • AWESOME!

  • brava brava brava

  • wow!! i absolutely looove this! <3

  • B-E-A-utiful!!!

  • Beautiful! But i wanted to ask my favorite nail care youtuber this, why is it that on the tip of my nail tips are white, but half the tips are a yellowish, clear?I'm growing them, from being a biter, and I've been concerned. Is it from lack of vitamins?

  • @SurfingAmanda while yellowing can occassionally be a sign of poor health, normally it is just from wearing polish - and the tip has been exposed to the most polish as it grows out, which is why it is more yellow there & fades the closer to the cuticle. I don't normally worry about it, but I do discuss a few tips if you want to try to whiten them in my Nail Maintenance vid =)

  • almost 100 video congrats
