I can't remember exactly which episode number but "The Drill", in book 2 has to be my favourite episode, it had a lot of stuff going on in it, a good sense of unity from "Team Avatar" and when Aang ran up the wall and this song started to play, you just sensed Azula wasn't going to be too happy afterward.

THis is from the "THE DRILL"---part 2 of "Secret of the Fire Nation"

My friend tells me --- "U MUST WATCH THIS SHOW--Only show worth watching---SOO GOOD, etc."

This was the 1st episode i ever saw. It had everything---story, humor, emotion, AWESOME action---

but THIS SONG is what sold me. Watching Aang run up that wall, reach the top, slow down, and then-->

"AAAAAAAAARRGH" as he SONIC BOOMS and races down. I was like "Holy Shit, this is the hottest cartoon i've seen in years"

@JoserRocksDawg Yeah. It's called Avatar: Legend of Korra. It's set further in time (about 70 yrs after Aang) and this time the Avatar is a teenage girl. You know how Avatar: TLA's setting was all over the place, well ALOK is centered in one place and Korra is a waterbender. They also say it will be a more mature theme than the original Avatar, but still funny. It comes out in 2011 : ) I'm so excited!

I believe that the writers did really write themselves into a corner when it came time to decide how Aang would fight the firelord. After all is was pretty stupid how Aang met a giant turtle island guy and the turtle touches his head and somehow showed him how to energy bend. I think that was like using a escape goat by the writers. If they were gonna include that they should have done a whole 2 part episode on it.

@matser08 I agree, if they introduced the turtle a little earlier it would've been better. Maybe give the Fire Lord a "Disney Death" (i.e Earthbending makes the cliff unstable, he's too stubborn to let Aang help him, and falls to his death)

I just meant sensible as in "Everything is done! Yay!", heheh. So many cartoons just...end. No ending. Just no more episodes. It's really kind of nice to see one get a proper send off, complete with "THE END".

@Dylanw200i I was actually joking . If you aren't surrounded by oxygen you can't breathe wich means you die. But right before that firebenders and airbenders are extra useless since fire needs oxygen and airbender need you know air.

Its not about a hierarchie at all.Remember the whole philosophy of bending not being some martial art but a extention of yourself. The air nomads wanted freedom more then anything else so airbending was the best extention they could get.

I agree with you. I've read reviews and interviews saying he's working directly with the people who created the series, so they get to say a lot of 'yes' and 'no' to stuff he puts in.

In fact, in one interview with them, Night was actually complaining because they had him take out some stuff. XD But they had to, or it would've been, like, a six-hour movie the first time, heheh.
