I pretended to be "normal" for some years, even got engaged. I stopped short of having "straight sex", and thank God I never actually married. Eventually it became easy not to fain interest in the opposite sex. Who would benefit from the charade?

If anyone asks "are you gay?", I have answered "why? Are YOU gay?". Usually that is followed by a decided "NOOOO!" Then I drive it home by saying "if you WERE gay, would it be any of MY business?"

I am sorry you had a bad experience, but I believe it is the client's CHOICE to self determination and no one else's. Did you really want to adopt a heterosexual orientation, or were you just wondering?

I recently found out that someone I know was a former homosexual. He is married and has two baby daughters now and I thought it was an awesome testimony for other homosexuals to hear. I don't think it's bad to give help to gays that want it.
