@underballbutter I had the same question. The vertical stones i see this technique working, but the horizontal top blocks seem impossible, especially for the time of stone henge. The technology used then is still unknown and will remain so.
@Khaos312 - "Will Remain So" - ROFL. So nobody will ever figure it out. You must have God-like knowledge to be able to make such a pronouncement. If somebody had asked you about the vertical stones before seeing this technique, you would have said the same thing.
@sailentshadow thanks,,,that's a great question!!! well in the video u see that theres water in the pit, now i dont know what else he could have down there to solidify that huge stone.

what about the cutting of the stone
Answ3rlol 9 months ago
@Answ3rlol Mass manual labor and time. A bunch of small chisels could do it over time.

WOW THANKS FOR THE VIDEO!
That's ingeneous!! I never even thought of that lifting system! That's perfect!!
Now, the thing that I have a question for.. is he did that with a foundation...
But what about on grass or normal dirt?.....
Great upload! Terrific! 5/5!

@MTLSPARTAN Well, what I was talking about, was when he was using two stones as pivots for large items... Like when he moved the barn...
On dirt, MAYBE.... but I doubt it, with heavy objects.. and with grass, even more improbable...

@sailentshadow for shure the ground must play a key role.
