  • You're completely insane!! I love it!!

  • well now... that is genius.... and using empty paint pot for pva... i feel stupid for not thinking of that over ooh don't know... 12 years of wargaming... doh! good job A+

  • What grasses do you use in the battlefield mix?

  • @Lysenis bright green , dark green, beige and brown

  • good job suger really kool i shell have to make one off those.

  • Hi, ¿how I can use the applicator to the GW-type bases?. Thanks!!

  • Damn, you're so clever :D great vid!

  • funky thingie but I get the exact same results by just blowing on my grass from a couple different angles.

  • alligator instead of crocodile... just to help our non native American English speakers.

  • @gothicel - lol I am American and say alligator clip. I don't think I have ever hear anyone say crocodile clip (maybe I will start though I like it).

  • @anarchopinko Lol yeah, I think it just depends on which leave near you (e.g. Alligator in the US, but crocodile in Australia)

  • Great video. I always wanted to use static grass, but it looked like a lot of work. Now I see it is not so bad.

  • Oh so the crocodile clip makes the grass stand up :D

  • great demo and fantastic result

  • Genius idea! Do you think adding brown pigments to the glue would work as soil? Or would it ruin this technique in any way?

  • Awesome!!!

  • You should patent this idea and sell it. Awesome idea and work!!

  • @Trencher1375 railroaders have been doing this for years.and you can buy them from hobby shops.

  • Wow! That's pretty cool, thanks for the demonstration!

  • bravo! great idea! love this!

  • Das ist ja genial! Wie bist Du denn darauf gekommen?

That's brilliant! How did you get this idea?

    Thank's for sharing!

  • fascinating:)

  • and if you see a fly near you you can always hit it with your static grass applicator and zap it ;)

  • Excellent demo Alexandra.

  • woah

  • Super cool!

  • Wow! Now that is very very cool and looks amazing!!!!

  • Wonderful video. Great results.

  • Wow!!

  • If you live in the US and have access to harbor freight, you can buy the bugzapper for under $5 bucks. What a deal, much cheaper than the advertised $200 on Terrain Website. Link shows how to make one..Directions on how to make one can be found by google-ing "Grassinator"

  • I am so excited to make the applicator and try this out! Thanks Alexandra! :)

  • Great video for the community. I haven't seen this device covered before, yet alone building your very own. Thanks!

  • This is awesome :)

  • I guess this type of applicator will not work on plastic or resin bases right?

  • @drumwolf22 Why not?

  • @Cridant1 Because a charge couldn't be passed through the plastic?

  • @drumwolf22 the charge will be carried through the white glue and not the plastic. you just need to hold the needle to it instead of pooking it in ;-)

  • @drumwolf22 But it doesn't pass through the wood either, it passes through the glue. That's why you make sure the glue is on the needle too.

  • @drumwolf22 The current is passing through the glue, not the cork board. So it would work with a plastic bass, you just have to work out how to attach the electrode.

  • can you make a video or videos in which you paint a box of warriors, please?

  • shocking

  • very nicely done got my vote for the orcscars !

  • German engineering at it's very best! :)

  • REALLY AWESOME WORK!!! I gonna make it :)

  • Very good video as usuall
