  • Ok cool thanks for the info. I wasn't sure because the label on the bottom of the bottle

  • I have a 1L bottle. Can I leave it in the refrigerator??

  • @fcgetmoney if it's the stainless steel bottle then yes! Here's what they say on their site: "SIGG bottles can be safely stored in the refrigerator, but are not suitable for cooking, freezing, microwaves, ovens, and dishwashers."

  • yea i have one and it filteres tap tooo

  • @KBerryful if u keep on buying cases of plastic bottles and using them it will most likely add up to be a lot of money. After a few months a reuseable bottle will pretty much be paying for itself!

  • Look I believe more people would buy the bottles if they were not 22.00 that is really expensive for a water bottle that you can lose...

  • @KBerryful actually, if you add it up you spend more on water bottles. The stainless steel water bottle is less expensive because it will last you for years. For example, you buy 1 bottle of poland spring for $1.25, imagine if you brought poland bring for seven days in 1 month. That would cost u $30 a month, for 12 months and if u brought it from grocery store it would cost u hundreds verse the stainless steel bottle which you will buy once

  • What about this:

Cut the "buy" stuff and >

    Reduce consumption,

    Reuse what you already bought,

Recycle what you can't reuse into some other usage items.

    Cheers.

  • /video.about.com/nutrition/Plastic-Bottles.htm)

  • how about this?

Here they say there is no evidence that plastic bottles are harmful so where is the evidence or experiments that say so??

  • This video got yourself a new supplier!!!

  • @EcoBold SO MUCH INFO! i watched this today for a school project i have and i actually got a lot of info out of this....thx for posting!!

  • @the2weirdos1 I'm so glad to hear that :)

  • Is there a way you can fill these with drinkable water that is not from plastic bottle or tap. (i live in a place where our tap water smells like fish and we dont trust it)

  • @97JLH yes u can get a filter system, we'll be uploading a video on a few choices in about a month!

  • @EcoBold thnx!

  • Is it a 1 L bottle?

  • @akheel00 they've all kinds of sizes, check out their site at mysigg[dot]com

  • Can you really put it in the freezer.. I saw one video saying that it can crack if used for these purposes.

  • Isn't the cap made of plastic?

  • @Sebastian198004 yes but it's BPA free and recyclable

  • @EcoBold Ideally, it should be made of bioplastic.

  • Such Reusable Water Bottle by SIGG is clearly better than plastic bottles. I've seen pros, mountain climbers and others who use such bottles.

  • I have had my SIGG bottle for one year. No other water bottle has lasted that long, it is still going strong.

  • Many bottles are also made of PET/PETE plastic, which is a by product of oil production, and it will leech harmful chemicals into the water. Bottle water all around is a rip off it only costs about $0.11 or $0.12 to bottle it, while you can easily pay $6 for a gallon. Plus many bottle water is nothing more than tap water and companies that bottle water are not held to the same testing standards that tap water is.

  • wow ur sexy love but u scare me with all this pollution info lol

  • I hate when I can't find bigger than 1L size bottle of FIJI water at the store to fill my water bottle everytime, there should be a fountain everywhere where you can just fill your water bottle instead of the plastic jugs you buy from store!

  • I heard these make you sick too

  • I love these bottles, I have been using one for months now. I work for a drive-in and they were giving promotional versions of these sigg bottles out to the crew, these are the best.

  • What's the water bottle made of?

  • @Dadsgirl240 aluminum :)

  • I use a water bottle, It's a cheap plastic one though (BPA free). I might get a nice looking one though instead of my plain one. Be a bit more interesting to have beside me when I'm studying or whatever.

That stuff about the birds was horrible, I didn't know about that. Brita Filters did a great set of anti-plastic bottle photos (google image "brita ad"). Despite Brita's intentions of using it to earn some more cash it sends out a powerful message about the use of plastic bottles.

  • Yeah water filters would be great

  • Yes I use a stainless water bottle. Do a video on water filters also.

  • this is a great video
