  • ahaha love it how the square leg umpire tried to signal to murali to get back in his crease

  • love that symonds signals to clarke that he owes him a beer for that one. hahaha

  • number 5 is sad

and number 1 is epic soccer skills

  • @hafishai No 5 aint sad its stupid batting and smart keeping the ball wasnt dead and he was out of his crease.

  • nice video ..

  • I am so confused by cricket. Never seen it before and here are my initial observations 1) For a top 10 list these plays look really boring 2) These people are dressed ridiculously 3) Does the pitcher really need to sprint towards the batter before he throws? Seems like you are severely sacrificing your aim for a minimal amount of extra speed...

  • @schmuckyou The "pitcher" is called a bowler and he doesnt throw the ball, throwing the ball is illegal, thats why he has to run towards the batter. I take it your a yank by lookign at your terminology, if you are I dont think you can criticise other sports in the world when you guys clearly have the worst ones.

  • Comment removed

  • @schmuckyou Ok again its called a "bowler" not a "pitcher" secondly you are the typical American ignorant yank, you have absolutely no understanding of something but tell the people that do have an understanding that they are wrong.... look up bowling (cricket) in Wikipedia which explains exactly why the BOWLER does not throw the ball, throwing the ball is in fact illegal. And how is cricket dressed funny compared to NFL?

  • @Mickylats21 I looked it up on Wikipedia and it says exactly what I said. You told me that the bowler doesn't 'throw the ball'. Ok...yes...he does throw it. This sport is just using a strict definition to differentiate between bowling and throwing. This could be a language difference but that certainly looks like throwing to me.

  • @Mickylats21 Also I am watching this again and I don't think I can describe very well what I find so weird about the way they are dressed...maybe it's the odd hats? Maybe it's the team that appears to be wearing sweater vests? I don't know exactly...maybe I am just used to sports where the teams wear the same uniforms (obviously with different colors). These teams all appear to have completely different uniforms.

  • @schmuckyou If I my respond: 1) Not all time highlights, just weird ways for a batter to go out. If you don't know the usual ways, you won't get why these are interesting. 2) Dressed ridiculously how? The pads and stuff? Fast balls are legally bowled at head, legs, groin, chest in cricket. Death and broken bones need to be avoided where possible. 3) In cricket, you have to keep your arm straight when "pitching." The run is for rhythm and pace. Accuracy is pinpoint at up to 100mp/h.

  • @Nizzleson Thank you for giving me a thoughtful response. I know my post was probably quite annoying to die hard cricket fans...I was just giving my honest reaction to the video because I've never actually watched cricket before. I have no doubt that it is a great sport, it just looks so bizarre to me. I'm trying to figure out the rules so I can watch it and understand what is going on because it looks rather interesting :)

  • @schmuckyou hope you know he is not a pitcher. Neither is he pitching. He is not supposed to. It needs much more skill and brawn than baseball.. :)

  • @rahul121086 As mentioned before this must be a language difference if that motion cannot also be described as pitching. I completely understand if bowling is a better way to describe it but it looks incredibly similar to pitching in baseball. I have no clue if pitching is easier or harder than bowling...though in all honesty bowling looks easier. I'm sure there are a lot of nuances to bowling that I am not aware of though.

  • nice

  • 3:50 trolololololololool

  • hahaha inzamam is a great batsmen but this was hilarious

  • i'm a pak but i have to say this inzamam is a clown

  • No I wasn't aware of this, nobody's told me it before.

  • Just in case you dont know... the video quality is awful.. the colors aren't good... and the music doesnt match.

  • russiangirlfriend.co.uk

  • you tube anthem!!!!!!!!

  • oh god cricket sucks like hell!

  • Ona technical point, the wicket (nr 2) there were a error from the 3rd umpire, ifyou look at 6:35, the batsmen throughs a hissy fits and leaves his crease just before the keeper braeks the stumps, thus leaving the nonstriker (Chanderpaul) not out.....

  • Wanna play a game ?

  • i just don't understand this sport...what is going on out on that field?

  • @qwertyuioplkjhgfd500 This relates to cricket in what way? Unneccessary.

  • @qwertyuioplkjhgfd500 I think Sehwag saw that comment and thought fuck you qwerty

  • @qwertyuioplkjhgfd500 , you alright? looks like you need some medical attention...loser.

  • the 5th was the funniest

  • highlights corruption in cricket

  • no indian bowler...i dislik this

  • David Miller was out similar to Andrew Symonds. In a Pro 20 match, he hit Loots Bosman in the head and the ball bounced to cover, he was given out !

  • Good Vid for people with a fetish for cricket.

  • whats weird in 9th dismissal

  • excellent video

  • the text color u have chosen is not clearly visible dude.! btw nice work!!

  • @loveforlovenoreason Yeah I know. I was like 13 at the time. Lacked common sense, but thanks dude :)

  • In the second last dismissal, pause at 6:35, where Morton hits his bat to the ground in disgust. Here, his bat got in the air whereas Chandrapaul's bat was still grounded and he put the bat at crease after Chandrapaul did so he should have been anyways out! Take a look at it and thumbs up so that other people can also notice it.

  • The Ist dismal was the Most weird out

  • Great video. Ian Bell's dismissal against India has to be a new addition.

  • the expression onthe ump is priceless

  • cricketworldonline.co.uk

  • Poor Tendu, too short for his own good.

  • michaael clarke is hillarious

  • I seem to remember a game many years ago when I think Derek Randall was bowled out and the bowler knocked out the leg and off stumps, leaving the middle standing!

  • its missing the one where Ravi Shastri hits stumps after hitting ball for six

  • can some body tell me what is the song between 4:13-8:00

  • @thelostpiranha thanx man

  • Clarke was dumb

  • 1. pause the video at 0:00

    2. hold the left arrow key and then press the up arrow key.

    3. now you are playing snake.

    4. thumb me up son

  • @786cricketlover now that is weird :) but cool

  • was number 3 out

  • @Skoolkidsproduction evidently so because where it hit him it wasn't then and still isn't know classified as a hit and if it was hitting in line then the batsman's out

  • 7,8,5,4,3,2 and 1 are only Weird Dismissals.

  • Nice 1 Sa900 ! Hats Off!

  • @chamcha007 THanks mate :D

  • wat song is this?

  • If Murali was run out, the batsman hadn't crossed, so had Sangakarra not even got his century?

  • I've seen better, Chaminda Vaas bowled a delivery and the ball was played back into his pocket and after minutes they found it and he was given out

  • View my channel for HD Cricket Video!! Please like no haters :D TY

  • I came here to see WHAT is cricket...

  • sri lankan are the best

  • Would Ian Bell's near dismissal count

  • What about Mohinder Amarnath getting out by stopping the ball which is about to hit the stumps with his hand

  • What about Mohinder Amarnath getting out by stopping the ball which is about to hit the stumps with his hand

  • Graham Gooch handling the ball ... the only one in test history (I think), surely this would make the top 10

  • yes i agree that he made the crease first... but if you look carefully, he lifted his bat before the stumps were broken. so in effect, it was chanderpaul who eventually held his ground. see my point??

  • @anubhavpandita123 No, I don't. So long as he was past the crease, it doesn't matter whether his bat's in the air or not. Once he got there, the run to the striker's end was Chanderpaul's to make - and the fact that he didn't led to him being out.

  • GUYS PLEASE READ THIS AND ANSWER!!!

in dismissal number 2, it should be morton who should be given out. even though he, made the crease first, he then lifted his bat in dissent before the run out was completed by the keeper. so in fact, bizzare dismissal number 2 is not bizzare at all! do thumbs up if u see my point..

  • @anubhavpandita123 What are you talking about? Being angry because he thought that Chanderpaul's stupidity had led to him being run out doesn't - and shouldn't! - negate the fact that he made the crease first...

  • forgot this:

    youtube.com/watch?v=hox3YvJLSXs

  • never seen some of these b 4! kool!!!!!!

  • I would take out the AB de Villiers one (that's not weird, just amazing fielding) and put in Kevin Pietersen's one where it rose on him, knocked his helmet off and that broke the wicket.

  • the first one is not weird

  • Hence Inzmam is the clear winner here, who got out twice out of these 10 times...:P

  • i put number 7 down to being over weight, lol

  • very good compilation, thank you :)

  • kya pakra he baap

  • Look at @3:49 the surprise on Sangakara's face LOL Prixeless X'DDD

  • Inzamam, the weird personality in International cricket!:P

  • not bad video:-)

  • YEp at 9 its brilliant yr...!!

  • hahaha....!!

    enzy 2 times...!!

  • What about the Aussie who was caught but didnt see the umpire raise his arm for a no ball and while walking from the field was run out. Match against the West Indies. He in fact should not have been given out due to a rule which state you can only be given out while attempting a run. Bizarre

  • @PERKO1966 Ahh mate the Dean Jones fiasco. yeah good point to throw that in, didnt think of it at the time :/

  • @PERKO1966 robelinda2 has uploaded that one.

  • This would have been way better without that awful noise (music? I think not)

  • no 9 isnt weird....its freaking brilliant

  • why did i had a feeling that inza would be there , even before watching the video?

  • @newguyat77 yeaH..!!

    inzyy is there 2 times...!!:P

  • You missed one - Andrew Hilditch handled the ball for Australia vs Pakistan, 1979. The only player to have been given out in this fashion at the non-striker's end in the history of Test cricket. All he did was toss the ball to Pakistan chucker Sarfraz Nawaz, to save the big man the trouble of bending down to pick it up. Hilditch thought the ball was dead - and really, Nawaz shouldn't have appealed.

  • @69Slartibartfast some respect for the inventor of reverse swing?

  • spoilt by shitty music

  • what about in the 2011 world cup quarter final? South Africa vs Nz. Hashim Amla is batting to Nathan Mccullum. He tries to cut the off-spinner, Thick bottom edge, off the right boot of Nz wicket-keeper Brendon Mccullum and into the hands of Dan Vettori at first slip.

  • did anyone notice..imzmam was always involved in such incidents on maxmum occasions.."wo jon se ladke hai wo achha khelte hai" lol

  • lol...Symonds...'You owe me a beer' haha classic!

    nice video!

  • 1 was not weird. sachins dismissal and also inzi's were the weirdest

  • Only in england..

  • @wadihahasan Okay, you ignored my reasoning and read only the last sentence. I am aware you can only get one run out per ball. It doesn't, however, stop you having a run out (Chandrapaul) and what I suppose would be an albeit accidental retirement (Morton) at the same time.

Also, what you said was nonsense anyway, both were in a crease - the same crease - at the time the bails were taken off, that's what caused the confusion in the first place.

  • Oh yes, the most boring sport ever existed. I can kill myself after watching half a game of cricket or baseball.

  • @metalforos sure u can

    just do it

  • With regards to Number 2. I'm curious to have seen what would have happened if Morton hadn't stopped when he walked. Walking is out even if the umpire wouldn't have given it. The bowlers did appeal so the umpire surely would have had to give Chandrapaul out too. Could they have ended up with two wickets off a single ball?

  • shocking music

  • number 2 was so confusing ! someone explain plz

  • @CodsBestMate Whats there to explain....... morton who played a shot to mid on ran for a single and chandrapaul who was at the non strikers end wasnt intrested...... chandrapaul was a step out of the crease and morton grounded the bat at the non-strikers end before chandrapaul and hence chandrapaul was given out by the 3rd umpire

  • @sanchitkk thx m8

  • amazing throw by AB D

  • lol Inzamam... The best player of worst dismissles.. ;p

  • I thought that baseball is for idiots but this game is for mapets FOOTBALL FOREVER

  • excellent dismals of all time

  • thanks.good vid even dou u wer 13.One thing i culdnt read the flimmin writing.

  • thanks.good vid even dou u wer 13

  • haha i love this :)

  • @001Dixie No. It was incredibly careless of Murali, and McCullum was absolutely within his rights to run him out.

  • Who does the music on this vidio?

  • @001Dixie frankly, a batsman should celebrate scoring a century or whatever past the crease, and after the other batsman has passed his side of the crease! Also, it was quite clear that period of play wasn't finished, as the ball was being thrown back to the wicketkeeper by what appeared to me to be the third man fielder.

Also, every sport playing nation will have people who will cheat to get an advantage, and every sports playing nation will have people who abide to the letter of the law.

  • WHY do you put music!!!!!!!!!

THERE'S NOTHING LIKE A GOOD OLD COMMENTARY FOR CRICKET!

  • @TheRAStyles1 Yeah I don't even know now. When I was making it 4 years ago, I felt the commentary was boring, but I gather now that "I'm On My Way" By The Proclaimers probably doesn't do cricket justice. :P

  • the worst edited video on the internet

  • nice collection barring the red text that is been displayed. The visuals speaks more than those texts and they are unnecessary.

  • Inzamam: 2 times!!!

  • @001Dixie ye thats why the rule is the ball has ended when the wickey has held it in his hands and there is no sign of another run!! He went wondering his dumb ass fault!! I thought KP might of been in this seeing as he'd past his double century when it happaned aswell!!

  • great compilation! but lose the music and weird special effects ...

  • gud collection da

  • What is the name of the first music.

  • why was murli considered out , he did touch the crease and thn he left?
