  • I knew this building looked familiar!

Rebels beheading a prisoner of war shortly after bringing him to the capital.

    watch?v=u2WfmHMiEfA&skipcontrinter=1

The video is uploaded in April, but it was taken in late March and the prisoner was taken from the battle of Bin Jawad.

  • Thanks. Mr. Bancroft!

  • Great work! I'm excited to see and hear the next chapters of your video series. It's so inspiring to see an international journalist experiencing the action first hand without mass media influence and corporate oversight. It gives a much more personal point of view on alternative media which is so profoundly important for normal citizens around the world to comprehend. It must be a struggle to overcome these challenges as an individual and I applaud your efforts!

  • @WestofTobruk tu parle français enculé? ferme ta gueule ya pa de pointillé rouge sur iPhone fdepute .you speak other language thanatos english?

  • @DESINFORMEZ3VOUS I speak brokenly in other languages, much like you do. However, I try to at least correct my spelling and grammatical errors.

I quite enjoy Paris every time I go.

  • @WestofTobruk i see

  • fuck you and yours american moudjahidines from mossad

  • @DESINFORMEZ3VOUS

Your English has improved. From unintelligible to nearly, almost intelligible shows that you have come a long way. Are you the type that sees demons in the shadows?

  • And are mujahideen mossad akin to Nazi Communists?

  • I would also like to point out the ironclad fact that before the revolution, there were something like 2 newspapers in the whole of Libya. Now there are over 20 in just Benghazi. You will see an explosion of creativity in the arts. Libya al Hurra news was put together in 11 days by amateurs, and it is much higher production value than Libyan State TV.

  • You will see plenty of evidence of Gaddafi's complete dismantling of infrastructure in the East. I clearly cannot speak for the West.

As much as I dislike imperialism, and understand that the West are not charitable organizations, I have seen nothing but devastation. I saw enough video footage of rape, particularly one of a Syrian women and a broomstick. This is not definitive proof that rape has been institutionalized. There is plenty of anecdotal evidence to follow this though.

  • you will all see plenty of interviews in my movie. this is not being seduced by the NTC. There has been virtually no looting and the crime rate has dropped by a significant factor.

There is still a problem with Gaddafi moles. And admittedly, some migrant workers are having a tough time, which I do talk about in my refugee video.

I did go to the ghettos where arms were being sold. The only thing that concerned me there was that nobody was too happy with me filming in these areas.

  • I don't know how much freedom of movement you were allowed but if I was you, I would have ventured deep into residential and popular areas where law and order has completely collapsed and this has been admitted by the rebels themselves who are now saying that they are integrating all their militias into one body for easy coordination but i doubt that would make a difference.

you should go back and report from Benghazi arms market

People are now arming themselves out of fear

    watch?v=SyA8SvNhwbE

  • @123VivaDjazair and what type of man puts together militias made entirely up of foreign mercenaries? King Mithradates of Pontis, but that was 2000 years ago.

Anybody who justifies Gaddafi's actions over 42 years has a suspect mentality to say the least.

  • @123VivaDjazair you are right that there is an arms market in Benghazi, and it is a bit dodgy there, at least dodgier than anywhere else. But I still never felt in any danger there. People are not arming themselves out of fear of the rebels. In fact, the barriers of fear, as they say, appear to have dissolved to a certain extent.

And you misunderstand why they are integrating the militias. This is specifically for more coordination, but for fighting Gaddafi's forces. And...

  • it is to make sure that the militias DO NOT become powers unto themselves. There is still some concern over fragmentation, and as there should be. Once the was is over, in particular, you will have a heavily armed population, some of which are organized into militias. This is not to crack down on the people, like you are implying, however. That is frankly absurd.

  • Hi mathhew, I've just watched some of your wild life videos and I think you good work, however I stopped on this particular video about Benghazi and I think you have got it completely wrong!... I think you have been seduced by a facade that rebel NTC has carefully orchestrated to seduce people just like you.

You should have ventured into the residential areas and try to find people who aren't afraid of talking!

the rebel torture centers, crimes and fear cannot be seen from the corniche

  • @123VivaDjazair I did. Nobody is afraid of speaking. You are the one who has it completely wrong on this. 37 out of 42 years of having to keep quiet, and everyone wants to speak now. Over 20 hip hop bands in Benghazi alone. Anti-Gaddafi art.

Don't let the presence of the West polarize your thoughts. No, the West doesn't have the Libyans' best interest in mind. However, Gaddafi is much worse. Look at all of the footage of his men firing on protesters with aa guns.

  • Now Many will claim human rights, how their security services would torture or oppress individuals, well that happens in every government look at the US, their prison system is a joke their legal system is even worst the amount of people in jail for crimes that would frankly make you laugh based on their race or views, then you have the CIA the state unofficial police arm who torture people including their own so ask yourself how is that any different then Gaddaffi leadership seeking control?

  • @vbenoyosa two or three times a week there would be huge independence rallies. And the Friday prayer generally had 10's of thousands to show their report for the revolt. I was mobbed by people in Al Bayda who wanted to tell me how inhuman Gaddafi was, and how he put virtually no money in the East. They also professed their hatred of al Qeada, as a side note. But I appreciate that you point out something important. In the other reports, I will include snippets of interviews.

  • @WestofTobruk thanks can you also include video evidence of these rallies in relation to them being Anti Gaddaffi because I hear a lot about these but do not see actual evidence of them being either anti gaddaffi or in numbers that are reported, I really want to see independent evidence from someone like you that is not mainstream so please do you best to get out of the main city place and residential areas to meet the real people I really look forward to seeing more of your reports so please.

  • @vbenoyosa Independence flags everywhere near the courthouse. 10's of thousands of people. You will see plenty of evidence of this. I cannot speak for the West as I have not been there. However, there is a feeling of utter animosity toward the regime in the East. Be patient with me. More reports are forthcoming (from Ajdabiya, Al Bayda, Shahat, etc.)

And so you know, I am strongly against Western imperialism, so I have been very torn by this whole war.

  • @180filmsnetwork please, Ask them question don't have your camera in there face use a voice recorder ask them what they want, ask them the questions, before you leave Benghazi I have a personal request, Could you please voice record and then after ask if the do not mind being videoed, Ask them what life was before this, ask them what Gaddaffi did to them, Ask them did they have jobs, were they content or happy ask them what do they want that they did not have before? please just investigate 4 me

  • @vbenoyosa hey man, i have plenty of that. i would be happy to supply that to you.

  • @WestofTobruk yes please thanks where when and how lol

  • It's the difference between the Spanish and the Aztecs. The Spanish were f'ing monsters, but the Aztecs were as well. The way I see it, the Western powers have caused so much damage in the world. However, I would prefer an asshole like Sarkozy to a self-styled god king. the feeling in the East is pretty much the same.

and btw, I saw absolutely no evidence of al Qaeda there. When bin Laden was killed, nobody cared one bit.

  • You know what I want everyone to ask themselves this! Is Gaddaffi bad? We call him a mad dog or mad man for the things he did to the west like support or terrorist groups but the same could be to about or leaders to eastern countries or Africa. So what did Gaddaffi do to his people that made he bad, did he not improve their livings stands and create a free health and education system and give every Libyan a free place to live and in fact give them money from the oil revenues is that bad or good

  • Everyone can become a filmmaker today, they are not what they used to be, that's why the movie theaters run empty.

  • @envanje I applaud you for your profoundly empty insight. This is a mini report, not a film. Most people, with a few notable exceptions, do happen to know the difference.

I look forward to seeing your content out of Libya.

  • @180filmsnetwork Indeed, this is only a very bad report so how much of a disaster any of your movies must be.

Take my advice, never get near to a camera again !

  • Comment removed

  • @envanje Perhaps you should go to Libya and see for yourself then. At the very least, I am glad I wasted 2:30 of your time, and saved somebody else the slight inconvenience of having to deal with your very poorly articulated analysis. Google translate, perhaps?

  • @180filmsnetwork you saved no one, your report is terrible, why not mention that people destroying the city are the same people who pretend to be rebuilding it.

Watch this, I think you will easily find this place in Benghazi:

    youtube.com/watch?v=fDtsncp0IRM

  • @180filmsnetwork Hey can you do me a favour if your really in Libya and you really want to find the truth report it, don't lick ass just go around gathering information like how many foreign military do you see, how many official arms of the new government do you see, ask general people questions, tell us if you had a minder following you, knock on random doors and ask them about their views on this whole conflict, ask them why they hate gaddaffi if they do, investigate be a journalist please?
