As an ad to attract new customers, this is a failure. But as a brand statement pitched to those that already understand the MINI culture...its awesome! This embodies exactly where BMW want to position the band. Young, fresh, fast, stylish and sexy.
If you don't get it, then perhaps you're more of a Toyota Prius kind of person.
Hits the mark perfectly. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up.
This is terrible. This can't be the work of the company that usually does the MINI ads. Please take these two severe looking "models" away from here. Blech.
Agreed. It's like they just squished in the roof. Same beltline height (and would be since they wouldn't want to piss off the Europeans with the pedestrian safety requirements), so just the top half of the car was changed.
On top of that, it's the same powerplant. The aerodynamic gains will be minimal at best, so what's the point? Oxford's at capacity, so here's to hoping this abomination never makes it to the plant floor.
Music!!??

What a stupid advertisement. These new minis look shit as well.

Idiotic ad. And the car doesn't even look like a MINI. I love my Cooper cabrio, and they've had many a clever ad. This one stinks.

Young, fresh, fast, stylish and sexy if you're 40 and the kind of uncle who tries much too hard to convince everyone he's still cool.
Not to put down MINI marketing, which is usually fairly well done, but this misses the mark entirely.

Awesome ads. And American's wonder why GM was/is failing. GM can't even make a quality car let alone a quality ad.

just look at the real cars and you`ll see, that everything manufactured brilliant
