LG

  • please do this video in english?

  • the hihat is rock or metal?

  • @Soluz19 metal, i just bought it, sounds awesome :D

  • WHERE IS THE CHINA !?

  • Ye are they all the paiste alpha rock brilliants? I failed german at school sorry

  • Can we get this guy to do a few on MyCymbal dot com? He's a wicked drummer and I'd like to hear him play some cymbals in a rock metal format. Rather than "Hey yall I'm George Slepick I'm gonna play some jazz."

Nice collection of cymbals. I like how crisp the hi hats are and cymbals sound great mainly the 18" & 20" crashes. The ride doesn't really have that much stick definition going on to me but from what I hear now these cymbals sound better than the cheap shit that's out at the moment.

  • What ride is he using?

  • @AnimalAndTheMupetts He's using a Paiste Metal Alpha 20" :)

  • @SlipFoldSevenknot It's a 24" Rock Ride not 20" Metal Ride.

  • @joshuachan56 My apologies :)

  • @AnimalAndTheMupetts 24" rock ride

  • @AnimalAndTheMupetts 24" Rock Ride.

  • I have a question does the 17 metal alpha crash with an 18 metal alpha crash make a good combination?

  • @alex7drummer I would go with cymbals that are 2 inch apart (eg. 17&19, 18&20, 16,18) for a more pitch differential.

  • For people who speak English... 1:27

  • Looks like the Meinl Mb10s have close competitors!! I prefer the Mb10s but these aren't have bad!

  • alta du bist so ein genialer drummer ne !!

  • Great beat with ride 1:46 :)

  • im trying to decide between these cymbals or A customs. i play hardcore punk, i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions because i am having trouble deciding lol

  • @martin34426 Damn. It's not even a question. A Customs. And don't buy them new, check around eBay for like at LEAST 50% off brand new, and the cymbals will have no signs of use on them most of the time. Always buy top-of-the-line used.

  • @martin34426 definitely these dude, check out the vid on my channel my metal alphas drown out the a custom im using!!

  • the ride sounds horrible

  • the crash is 16-17-18-19?

  • Well im sold! i just need $700 to buy the whole pack :(

  • 2:14 wow!

  • Das Ride-Becken klingt geil!

  • come again?

  • love the language

  • That seat looks so comfortable -_-

  • Ride is incredible, and not just the bell

  • German is such a beautiful language

  • wow beautiful video, loving these cymbals

  • These sound much much worse is person. Especially the ride, it has crazy overtones.

  • sounds good unless for the ride bell...

  • Jeremy spencer from FFFDP uses the metal ride in his setup....look up their stuff for a better idea of the cymbal

  • @TheDunwichHorrorBand he uses all alpha metal cymbals aside from the rock china :)

  • the only crap thing about demoing these cymbals is that no drummers out there demo these cymbals in a more versatile setting, covering all genres of music, because these cymbals are actually quite nice and can be used in other applications other than metal..i know that these demoed here are all cymbals for metal and hard rock but the alpha line also makes thinner, lighter and much more versatile cymbals..if i can't find any here on youtube, i'll demo a set myself and post it for everyone ! ,

  • finaly a guy who test cymbals WITH A PAIR OF BALLS!! he really shows what those cymbals can do, fuking luv the germans using their common sense :)

  • i like his zebra throne lol

  • I love the crash on the 24 Ride its like a big gong:D!

  • hi hats sound great

  • mmm shiny

  • I don´t uderstand anything about what you spoke, but that kind of cymbals speaks alone, great video

  • DAMN NICE CRISP SOUND...only thing is that the ride is way too low :|

  • @dreendroid because it was 24" one i think

  • @dreendroid i think that was 24 inch one

  • Best Alpha cymbal demo on u2b

  • @160497153

this is the best demo, but only for most of the cymbals. for example, the ride sounds a lot better than the way it does in this video. the rest of them are just fine... awesome cymbals

  • Shut your chin beard and play the fucking kit dude.

  • Iam buying the metal edge hihat! For that price they have amazing sound or i can pick up a turkish cymbal!

  • @Kevinkoch2443

    Bei Thomann kostet sie 299€

  • i dont give a shit as long as i can have cymbals

  • my A customs kill these

  • @imdarrellkthx i totally agree with you , i played A customs for the last 8 years... i don't know why everybody loves paiste so much.. i just think they sound cheap imo. i play meinl byzances (extra dry, dark and vintage), and i just can't understand why people always tell me to switch over to paiste.

  • @brockstringer Yeah man, there is a reason Zildjian has been around for as long as they have been, and have been at the top since they've been around. People just don't like them because everyone else does.

  • @imdarrellkthx Ford has also been around longer than anyone else. But my Dodge Ram will outlast a Ford by 100 years ;)

  • @Zeppelinm16 Good thing i'm not talking about trucks. I'm talking about a cymbal that has been at the top since it came out. The only serious choice.

  • @imdarrellkthx i actually dont like zildjian because they cant take a hard hitter, and i have never broken or seen a broken Paiste, or Sabian, that is why they are awesome, but that is just me, you are probably i softer hitter dosnt mean that zildjian is the best brah

  • @TourettesUnicorn If you had proper technique you wouldn't break cymbals. I'm a hard hitter, and i've never cracked any zildjians besides the low end ZBTs. I've seen PLENTY sabians cracked to the bell, theyre thin. Overall, if you have good technique you can hit as hard as you want without doing much damage.

  • @TourettesUnicorn Furthermore, ask Matt Greiner about what you just stated, if you ever meet him.

  • @imdarrellkthx I've actually had a talk with Matt when, he was in town for a show, He said pretty much that its all in personal opinion and not what everyone else thinks you should sound like, Which i apologize, I should have Put that in my Statement, i never said i hated Zildjian, they're just not for me :)

  • @imdarrellkthx They still suck.

  • @Zeppelinm16 Judging by majority, not many people would agree with you.

  • @brockstringer

Everyone has different tastes, not everyone has to like zildjian.

  • @Plays2 i know. i agree, that's why i play meinl :)

  • hab nu den Kompletten satz! Ride is am besten!!! Hatte das Sabian AAX. Paiste klingt besser!!!

  • those cymbals are amazing and iloved that groove

  • WOW! I think for those cymbals, the batters need to be changed to clears... the coated batters are too muted and jazzy and got overpowered by those incredible metal Alphas.

  • just got a 17'' rock crash. ohhhhmygod

  • @DrinkingRoses me (F*) 2

And shit, u so right,,, OOOHHHHHMMMMMMMMYYYYYYGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!

  • getting them hi hats. im sooooo excited!! :D

  • Those cymbals sound pro man!

  • Comment removed

  • drum sounds like crap

  • i can't tell, is there enough motion in these cymbals to wash ride good?? they look too stiff...

  • I need subtitles..

  • @ditoprabowo music doesnt need translations my friend.

  • @MrYeswecan14 well, you got that right bro.. just curious about what he said in the first half..

  • @ditoprabowo yeah...he obviously must have said something like "we're here today testing the new alpha..."etc.

  • is that ride crashable?

  • @danthman44444 yes it is... and it works like a beast!

  • that was freakin awesome

  • Comment removed

  • yes, he's testing the 24" rock ride...

  • I have the 22'' alpha metal ride and its amazing has a great bright pingy sound on the body perfect for slayer type of songs and the bell on it is just explosive, perfect for those off beat ride patterns (like lamb of god).I would definitely compare these new Alpha brilliants to the Meinl MB20's just with a way friendlier price tag haha

  • I have two rock crashes of this brilliant alpha and I love them (16",18")

  • I don't like the sound of the ride that much, I like a more brighter sound

  • @MrRoyWesten they have a metal ride that im thinking about getting, its suppose to be very bright

  • @MrRoyWesten well generally brighter rides are lighter, this is a heavy ride which has more stick definition than a lighter, brighter ride, it's all about what genre of music your playing and beyond that, the sound the drummer is looking for

  • @CJMdrummer666 I play all sorts of styles but mostly metal, but I don't like that muffling sound. And the one I really prefer is the signature ride that Nicko McBrain (from iron maiden) has, its just so beatiful bright and light!

  • @MrRoyWesten Nicko McBrains Signature 22" Reflector Bell Ride is a heavy ride...

  • @CJMdrummer666 I mean sound

  • @MrRoyWesten Well, I think hes testing the 24" Rock Ride, I ordered a 20" Rock Ride and I gotta say, they bell is high enough to pierce tank Armor and the body is nice and warm

  • these sound so good!
