  • take care brother david <3

  • I hope he is fine ...

  • OMG his turning into a zombie

  • Oh wow, David! I am so sorry that you had to go through that. My prayers are with you. I hope you are doing better!

  • How are you doing these days David? I hope the surgery worked.

  • I stumbled upon this video by mistake, and I'd never seen anything like this before. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family through all that faces you. x

  • get out of the way stupid!

  • It feels like everything in the room becomes severely loud. I put my hands up to tell the person to shut up so I can fight this off. But, as you can see it doesn't work. I can keep my eyes open to process what I'm seeing until my eyes go up...and then I'm done. I barely have any energy left. I am out of it. My back hurts....It takes a long time to recover. My tongue is all bitten up. What kind do you have?

  • @DavidEpilepsy @hungandyung

hi there. i had surgery on the right front side in 2005 for astrocytoma II extirpation. started with epilepsy at the end of 2008 begin of 2009 (2 episodes grand mal) after several eventual auras. phenytoine lvl was right on 0. epanutin is working good for me (400mg) it is heavy on stomach but omeprazol helps there. after a new surgery this year in may for recurrent astro (this time III) the same dose is still working. well thats my story if it may helps. ALL THE BEST

  • wat do grandmal seizures feel like

  • @Niceboy3377 Physically, like you've been run over by a lorry, perceptually, like your living in an Edger Allen Poe novel...thats for me anyway!

  • @Tombuchaill does it hurt

  • @Niceboy3377 Depending on if you hit something or not you can injure yourself or strain muscles during the attack. If you go unconscious you don't feel anything during it, but you do when you come round. If you are conscious it can be hard to breathe and its quite violent and uncomfortable. After it for a while my mind is very confused, I suppose it would be like a bad trip, not nice. But everyone is affected slightly differently.

  • @Tombuchaill o wow

  • Even tho I am diagnosed with epile[sy myself its still no way to watch this without knowing what your going thru and my heart goes ou to you and your family.I was just released from the hospotol friday after suffering a ac ouple grand mals'.They currently have me on Lamictal( but the side effects for me of that drug are intolerable) and the max dose for keppra. The other night i woke up out of my sleep jumped up caught a quick twitch and then started crying uncontrollably. Is that a side effect?

  • @hungandyung

How often do you have the seizures? Did your side effects increase over the dosage going up? Me and Keppra did not mix well...with the crying and other dangerous parts about it. It takes some time to adapt and try to fix the side effects. The one thing that I control with mine are I eat the food BEFORE taking the medication...a good amount. If I don't then I'm on the floor passed out. The lamictal was a good cause of that happening, and taking Vimpat made it worse. Just takes time.

  • I was on Lamictal and Vimpat at the time. My medication was slowly increasing. It just took a while to figure out what to do to prevent it.I had to adjust the dosage and when to take it. I hope it works out for you, it might take a while to get the right medication to hopefully work for you!

  • I had my first seizure March of 2010. It was a Grand Mal. They diagnosed me with Epilepsy. They prescribed me Keppra. I had another one just this morning. The Keppra that I am taking does the same thing. I was going to ask about Lamictal because I was told that the side-affects weren't so bad. But I guess they are. Thank you for posting this. It's helped alot.

  • you take tegretol or phenobarbotol?

  • Jesus I hate it when you've just had a seizure and you're at the hospital and all these bloody nurses with annoying voices are saying "it's ok, it's alright, you'll be fine" and in your head you're saying "piss off lady I don't know you I feel like my head has been through a blender and your voice sounds like a dying cat!"
