I served as a soldier there in the 80s I think you all deserve to live in peace. Sure there was hatred from both sides but I think it is time to move on and start living. I am reminded of my time in Ireland every second with the pain I suffer from injuries but I am not angry we ALL have learn to live together

i used to love driving through strabane, shame about the pricks that thought they had something, losers. You had nothing ate u stilll more than a quiet propoganda stop off u fucking retired bennefit (prob driving illegal taxi) state fund sucking leaches. Grew up in Lifford, late 70s-80s, even with all the trouble then Strabane was a lively busy shopping town, seen it a couple of years back, totally different, feels dead, empty no life, shame.

Me mam was born and grew up in Strabane.......like many came over to Engalnd in late teens, Loved the holidays there when I was young kid (3-7) - mid 70's - spoilt rotten !! Not been there for 28 years - Can't wait to see the 'curly hill' and the park at the back and of course a million and one relatives !!

well strabane is the best town in the world to me sure its amall but if you drive on out to the country it is damn beautiful so if yhuu want to say strabane is a bad town yeah sure its not the best but its my town!!
