I am 15, and I believe Deanna Durbin, is the most talented female singer in history. She could sing in every language =D She was my grandmothers one and only inspiration, which took my grandmother to Broadway.. Deanna You will always be the best!!
Her voice has a lot of the same quality as Barbara Cook, another of our greatest stars. I think Deanna can do more with her voice but the basic sound is a lot alike, especially on this song.
I love these songs. My Grandmother's day and she would sing them to me. We really need this sort of talent today - we've lost much on the road to vulgarity.
Utterly charming. Deanna had such a lovely, warm voice, which alas, many female singers of this day and age sorely lack. She had a knack of making anything she sang sound straight from the heart. Thanks for posting this golden oldie from Deanna!

My father passed away when I was a child. My mother said this was his favorite song. Whenever I hear it, I know he is near.
