I love this performance and, for me, he was the only one from this year who had 'the X factor' . The producers obviously felt he was a contender also otherwise we wouldn't of gotten this back story clip before his audition. And then he wasn't really even shown in the boot camp episodes. Ok, so the boy appeared on a porn site - it doesn't mean he can't sing! X factor is all the poorer for not including him. It REALLY sucks this series!

All the strong contenders got knocked out of X factor really early. Lascel arguably being the strongest. It's possible that the guys who were really good only went on the show for the exposure that the first audition gives you. My theory is the outstanding singers had no intention of going beyond the audition but I may be wrong. People like Lascel probably already have the big guns offering a recording contract. Miles better than the guys left on the show now which just adds weight to my theory

That's why I'm questioning it this year. I still think the decent ones are pulling out early - all they need is the exposure that the first audition gives you.
