  • Thank you for sharing this with us... He's just brilliant !!!

  • David Tennant's voice just got me pregnant. <3

  • Both David and Catherine have really nice singing voices :) I think I just melted when I heard David sing. This part of the play was amazing :D

  • I know they are just friends...but I have always felt they would be an awesome couple. Same with Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio. It's are shame they are JUST friends.

  • such a good song!

if only I had 12 euro to download the play! ><

  • I just finished watching the play, SO GOOD! David and Catherine are perfect together, such good chemistry! =D They're just too much fun!

  • oh come on!

"You're not allowed to be witty and then be like: "oh I've got a skill as well""

    -Jon Richardson... AND IT FITS

  • Holy crap. Best song ever

  • omg this si amazing! she can sing so well! both of them can!

  • 1:58 holy shit. I love you. Lol

  • 1:58--- creamed ma pants.

  • wow at 1:58

He should join a heavy metal band :D

  • I bloody love Catherine's singing voice!

  • this was soooo good live :') thanks for putting hte music up

  • I heard david Tennant sing and this was my expression: OpO

  • Okay guys, I already wish you happy Christmas!

Click on the link in info. All you have to know is in the video.

  • This song makes me happy x but the again when ever i feel upset i watch anything with David, Catherine or Billie Piper in & it makes me smile x :)

  • Is This on DVD x :)

  • @kellylouise11 David said it is possible that it will be on DVD but it's not sure yet, I really hope it will :))

  • @godessshannon I Really Hope so x :) This is Awesome

  • So here's another thing David Tennant can do really well....darnit, it there nothing this man can't do!!! Love him :)

  • I hate how I don't remember the songs. I saw the play over the Summer with my Mom and sister one time, it was amazing. We laughed so much! But now that its been so many months since I saw it, I barely remember much from it :(

Still remember the part with the paint though. That was pretty awesome XD

  • oh wow, well...i don't think 'sigh no more' has ever quite been done like this before. we're doing a production of it at the moment and have remixed it to be a slick movie soundtrack type. although, this is boppable. truly boppable.

  • When he sings I die

  • Erm Shakespearean High School Musical anyone? That's what this song reminds me of! Either that or Wham!

  • @NanaFiltness It's like a very cheesy Glee.

  • *sigh* ;)

  • This is so very wonderful.

  • This needs to go out on DVD!

  • You're telling me that out of the Beatrice/Benedick screen depictions, I have to choose between Emma Thompson/Kenneth Brannagh and Catherine Tate/David Tennant as my favorite? Really? Well, prepare for the universe to implode, because there is no way you can cram more awesome into this decision. Unless you throw in John Barrowman.

  • I saw them - they were brilliant! My favourite Shakespeare, too!

  • @TheDomisaurusRex ah I'm jealous! wish I could go see it

  • @TheDomisaurusRex I am officially jealous!

  • this song makes you feel good!

  • God I love this song

  • No it's not the same as in the movie, but tennant and tate are doing a contemporary shakespeare. That's why it's different. I love it! I think I'm melting by just listening to tennant sing. Tate is great too! LOVE!

  • I can die happy now

  • I so lo ve this song u should see my moms face when I play this song and I dance around my room singing it at the top of my lungs wile watching DT in doctor who

  • This song is like the theme to F.R.I.E.N.D.S, you automatically clap along.

My brother actually thought I was nuts when we saw the play in August as I sung and clapped along. And I was surprised no one else was singing or clapping.

  • @1:58 David Tennant's voice goes all growly :) Pretty sure that's the hottest thing I've ever heard.

  • is there anything DT can't do

  • @Protisch79 Dooh. Of course it's 'not the same'. It's from the play.

And logically, some people like it, some don't.

  • @Protisch79 ... one question how can you know what shakespear wanted without even having met him?

  • @SlangeF2 Study him to know him.

  • I'm completley addicted to these songs! They're great and Davids and Catherins voices blend so well. I'm falling in love with David all over again, it's just too much that he can sing!

  • IT'S DAVID TENNANT SINGING! YES!

  • I love this song! I had no idea they could sing! I really wish I could have gone to see the play, I wish they'd have recorded it for a DVD or something, cause I now a lot of fans just won't have been able to go see it.

  • @LauraaLovingYou Not sure if they'll make a DVD, but it's been recorded and as I understand, everyone will be able to download it for £8.99. (I would prefer DVD.. But still, I would agree with anything because all I really want is to see MAAN.)

  • @TheAncux Ah, thank you!

  • @TheAncux I saw it and it was amazing xD where will we be able to download it from?

  • @b3witch3d Search in Google for 'Digital Theatre'. But I don't know how long we'll need to wait.

  • @TheAncux You're able to rent it online or download it on digital theatre :)

  • ... What exactly does "nonny" mean anyway? Where did it come from?

  • @Daphnegirl93 The lyrics are taken from Act 2 Scene 3 of the play!

  • @Daphnegirl93 It has a lot of meanings, some explicit, some slang, and some silly. It probably means "friend" in this song though. It's a whining but affectionate way of saying it.

  • @Daphnegirl93 Hey nonny nonny is like saying "La la la' in a song or anything like that.

    Its just nonsense

  • I would have loved to hear him sing in an actual musical. Blackpool didn't cut it for me, you can't hear him through half the songs! but watching him dance was pretty awesome.

  • i have to perform this song in drama and it is a hell of a lot different from this but it is still in Much Ado About Nothing

plus i congradulate David on keeping charicater even while singing coz I've never seen anyone sing and use a fake accent all at the same time

Plus I never knew he could sing and that well but hey the things you find out over youtube

  • i have to perform this song in drama and it is a hell of a lot different from this but it is still in Much Ado About Nothing

  • Catherine!!! What a voice <3

  • Awww, I love them together <3!!

  • Wait What!?

I knew David was in Much ado about nothing...

    But Donna too????

  • wait, this isn't FROM Much Ado About Nothing...right? What is it from?

  • @10ovhearts This is FROM Much Ado About Nothing CD (this song is perfomed by DT and CT in the very end of the play).

  • @10ovhearts

yeah it is at the end of the play they sing this song

  • @10ovhearts It's actually written into the first half of the play (second or third act) as a poem preformed by several Minstrels and Musicians.

  • I knew David could sing, but Catherine really supriesed me. She's really good!! <3

  • ok, if you dont look at the lyrics, the part where David Tennant says "were ever so" ALMOST sounds like he's saying "or River Song"..... Just a cool Whovian thingy.

  • I haven't seen the play, due to being in the US, but I did hear they use this song at the end. Please let them do a dvd of the play and have them do a video of this song and the We Go Together song!

  • i was lucky enough to go see them, they were absolutely spectacular!!

  • why did the never have the Doctor and Donna get trapped in an alternate universe where the only way to communicate is singing?!

  • These two... Honestly.

    They're amazing.

  • David Tennant singing. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

  • I've watched this video, like, 25 times : / Thanks for uploading it!

  • I get tingles when David starts singing <3 <3 :D

  • loe this and they are quite good too which is suprising xxx

  • I love it when their voices mend together :O

This is such a feelgood song =3=

  • Those two should always work together. David Tennant and Catherine Tate works as well as Donna Noble and the Doctor!

  • :/

David Tennant will be the death of me.

I swear, he is just too perfect.

  • I saw the play twice last week and what can I say? I want a DVD so so soooo bad! I really loved the whole show and especially the ending with this song and their great dancing routine was amazing!

  • Oh my God I love this!

  • I saw the play this week.. they´re great...Can´t believe I actually saw my doctor who.... tennant is amazing, funny and really nice!!! I would like to see it again!!!!

  • Wow. Catherine and David have incredible voices. Wow.

  • LOVE hearing David and Catherine singing but the song sounded like something Disney would have written in the 80's. Great singing of a bad song.

  • @krymegaa their version of Much Ado About Nothing takes place in the 80's!

so I guess they achieved their goal :D

  • I wish I could see this! Please let there be a dvd! Hamlet was made into dvd! And they should include this song and the We Go Together song as music videos with them singing! :)

  • I sooooooooooooooooooooo wish I could see this!!!!!!!!

  • i have seen this and it is soooooooooooooooo funny :D

  • wooooow they are amazing!! hahaa

  • I saw this yesterday, and was lucky enough to get a photo with him at the end. They're both incredibly talented, and it's so lovely to see how close they are.

  • i wish i lived out there....

  • DVD PLEEEEAAAAAASE!!!!!!!

  • I didn't know he could sing

  • i went to see this on the 28th it was one of the best things i have seen in my life being a tennant fangirl has nothing to do with it :p i wish i could go back and see it again just seeing Tennant was a dream come true. but totaly amazing all round i've had this song stuck in my head all day got a few weird looks on the train back when i started singing it. *oops* TENNANT FOREVER <3

  • I took my nne yr old and was worried she's whinge all the way through - she adored it and wants to see it again. She said it's the best thing she's ever seen.

  • just get married Catherine and David ♥

  • @continuo In all the various connotations of that phrase.

  • Somewhere, Shakespeare is smiling! :D

  • Saw it on Monday. I absolutely loved it! I agree with @MegaCelticLady... they need to put this on DVD.

  • Saw it on Saturday - loved it

  • This is awesome!! :D

  • THE DOCTOR DONNA LIVES!! -- Now get Barrowman in on the action.

  • totaly awsome. I went to see this on july 1st and ejoyed it so much am going back on 28th!!!!!!! being a tennant fan girl as nothing to do with it (LOL) its awsome and soo needs to be on DVD. If u ave not already please sign the petition for it to go on DVD.

  • Barrowman needed casting as Don Pedro ;-)

  • @dhastie3000 A Don Pedro prancing around doing jazz hands and (probably insisting on) a sparkly costume? Shakespeare would be boogying in his grave. heehee. grrr *shakes fist* BARROWMANNNNN

  • they both have amazing voices.. I LOVE IT! :)

  • forte david sa anche cantare, magnifico david un artista completo.

  • i can't stop hear it!

  • I never would have guessed that Catherine sang so well! She sounds great!

  • I saw Much Ado yesterday and it was brilliant. Catherine was very good and David was awesome and very funny. His timing is excellent . At the end I clapped and cheered, not just for his performance in this, but also Doctor Who and anything else I have seen him in. My arms and hands are very achy today!

I also hope it can be put onto dvd, as I would love to see it again.

  • I'm not even kidding, I feel like crying right now.

I went to go see Much Ado About Nothing just over a month ago and this song just reminds me of how absolutely amazing it was. I remember clapping to this song and cheering at the top of my lungs. David looked like he had tears in his eyes when they got a standing ovation at the end. It was beautiful. That day was the best day of my life. But I can never relive it again.

Thank you so much for uploading this. <3

  • Catherine actually isn't bad.

    That makes me very happy.

    And David is adorable...as usual.

  • Catherine's voice is brilliant. David's is alright. XD

  • Pllleeeease release MAAN on DVD, that's all I ask. Not all of us can get to London, and the theatre is a lovely place, but it has no access for the disabled. But Catherine and David both have brilliant voices. Who would have known? I am in heaven :)

  • @tardismole You can sign a petition on IPetitions to get them to release it on DVD. It worked last time. :)

  • @becauseiamable Thank you :) Where do I sign :D

  • @tardismole Go to ipetitions and search muchadotodvd, without spaces or it won't work :)

  • @becauseiamable thanks. I would never have known about it without your help. I hope it works. Best of luck to us all. :)

  • @neglabable "We Go Together" isn't played in Much Ado play. It's just a Bonus Track. :)

  • @TheAncux Thanks! Okay, so I wasn't going insane not remembering it, haha.

  • wow there good and i love them you two rock go the docter and docter donna

  • This was actually one of the best productions I've seen of ANYTHING, and certainly of Much Ado. I was expecting David and Catherine to be brilliant, but everything about this was just so fantastic. This sequence was one of the best!!!! ;)

  • If I could favourite this an infinity number of times, I would. Yes, they're a bit flat, but I can hear that they are having the time of their lives, and this just makes me want to see this performance even more, if that was possible...PLEASE sign the petition to have this production made into a DVD movie!!!

  • THAT'S DAVID'S VOICE????

    amazing! :D

  • will they do this in the US?

  • @Mikelp79 Nope, but there's a petition on ipetition to get it made into a DVD. It worked for Hamlet, so hopefully it works for this play as well. Sign it please and send it to your friends!

  • Seen this play 4 times and i intend to see it again! Its so brilliantly done! And them dancing to this is just fantastic!

Ah! Pipers! *shoves cassette in and starts to dance*

  • @mirandasblog Oh, then sorry about my last comment. I didn't get what you said. But, well, what I think is that they can actually sing. And even good. Maybe this is not their best song, but they have really amazing voices.. For a Shakespeare play, like "Much Ado About Nothing", it even sounds brilliant.

Still, everyone can think what they want. :)

  • they both can sing sooooooooooooooo well.

  • Actually, David CAN sing and does it well. And if his voice doesn't conform to someone's fucking standard the best solution is not to listen.

  • HEY, THIS ISN'T SPAM, THERE'S A PETITION TO GET THEM TO PUT THIS ON DVD, PLEASE SIGN IT.

just google much ado to dvd petition.

  • For all those who loves this song - I just uploaded the second Much Ado soundtrack ("We Go Together"). Listen and enjoy. (By the way, "Sigh No More" lyrics are in the Description)

  • Bahahaha!

  • I think that David can sing. In fact he can do anything he is so incredibly talented. Love this - hoping for DVD release!

  • I am so devastated I may never be able to see this. Favourite play of Shakespeare's with my favourite actors. Better be on DVD...

  • The one and only Catherine Tate can really sing! Way to go, Catherine!

I am praying there will be a DVD of the play that includes this song!

  • I think... It might just not be his best vocal range or vocal style. Tate sounds awesome though!

  • Wow, he can sing.

  • Song is already on 4shared.com :D Wow...that was fast...O.o

  • Whoa...is that Catherine Tate singing?? Whoa..doesn't sound like her..., but Tennant you can recognize his voice...:D

  • Yaaay!! I would love to see this on stage!!

  • this should def.. be on dvd! i would be in love w/whoever made tht happen : )

  • Who says he can't sing?! He can! :)

  • I love it! Any chance they will bring this play to the US?? Prayer for a DVD also! I love Catherine and David together! They are simply fantastic!!!

  • @MegaCelticLady If they made a DVD I would lock myself away forever. I don't want to see them in Much Ado About Nothing. I NEED to see it. haha

  • A FABULOUS SHOW!

  • Already downloaded this song along with "We Go Together"!I have waited ages to hear that man sing, and I was not disappointed!

  • OMG i love David Tennant!!!! <3

  • Hehehe, I am liking this new upbeat version of the song - especially with these two singing it! ;D :D

  • Shame David can't sing... Bless him. I still totally would though ;)

  • I love it!

  • omg seriously strange i had to sing this in my college shakespeare show OMG it was diffrent though
