Black republicans... How you can be part of a political entity that marginalizes your race and ignores their issues and aspirations is beyond me. Oftentimes, black republicans have divorced themselves of the "black experience" and a "black identity" and many, quite frankly, have no "soul". Proportional voting system might help, with an amendment in the constitution that stops congress from blocking an incumbent government's bill or bringing a government down by vote of no confidence, without offering an alternative, that is supported by a 2/3 majority of congress itself. I actually would like that if they did stop wearing makeup. A lot of the women that I've known and dated were still beautiful when they were all natural but still felt that they need makeup. I guess because society expects it. So yes I'd say so. Most men don't wear makeup but do okay and I think women should be able to do the same.
As God intended is a strange thing to say because we are all born without clothes. Beauty is a womans greatest asset at obtaining a mate, which is a prime motivating factor for living. Modifying beauty is ok if it is to modify beauty. Makeup that evens skin tone is understandable, but making hair bone straight, coloring it blonde and getting blue contact lenses when you have 20/20 vision is a completely different story.

I actually would like that if they did stop wearing makeup. A lot of the women that I've known and dated were still beautiful when they were all natural but still felt that they need makeup. I guess because society expects it. So yes I'd say so. Most men don't wear makeup but do okay and I think women should be able to do the same.

As God intended is a strange thing to say because we are all born without clothes. Beauty is a womans greatest asset at obtaining a mate, which is a prime motivating factor for living. Modifying beauty is ok if it is to modify beauty. Makeup that evens skin tone is understandable, but making hair bone straight, coloring it blonde and getting blue contact lenses when you have 20/20 vision is a completely different story.

When Amy used the phrase "spade work", I think she really meant "ground breaking work" with constituents. "Spadework" (one word) simply means this: Preparatory work necessary for a project or an activity.
