  • this is worldwide not only in mexico !!!if you got the power of money : you can do whatrever u want its dosent means the riches are the hapiest peolpe on eart ider; but they can do some damage with ther money ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;to those whos most needed its been hapening since the begining of human race THATS WHY WE NEED ANOTHER CYCLE OF THE MAYANS PROPHESIES JAJAJAJAJAJA

  • fukkking mexican goverment helping american companys to exploit mexican resources and it's people, but when comes to help to the mexican people, goverment turns it's back on them....

  • and then whites ask why mexicans have to migrate to other countrys.......

  • As an American tourist, let me ask you this... what is the answer? Should we stop going to the big hotels? Then there will be no money in Quintana Roo. So what do you suggest we do?

  • @12centuries IF YOUR WHITE GO BACK TO EUROPE.........

  • @12centuries we don't want imperialism or capitalism.

  • @99cacahuate

At Least Mother Nature gave greedy Japan a good ass kicking on the weekend with that earthwauke and tsunami.

  • @12centuries go and pay shipper to a locar to stay in their house.. and a restructure of the turist.. if all the tourist cand find a place with the locals it will be better for the economi of the locals directly an better for the turist because the can interact with people of the place they are at.. how it sound?

  • @12centuries IF people stopped going to the big hotels, it would give them no money, but they have about that much any way. People immigrate to the USA for money, and people don't realize that. The best we can do for the Maya is welcome them. If we skipped the hotels, that makes things worse for México, and we can expect more Méxicanos.

  • god bless all the american brothers that can feel the pain of a mexican life!

  • I have great respected for Narco News and their efforts to expose the truth.

This is just one example of the exploitation of the indigenous. They must work to survive and the big corporations take advantage of them. Low paid workers w/o benefits are what keep the fat cats pockets full. It's a travesty and inhumane.

  • @cozkaren - You summed it up perfectly! It saddens my heart to think of how we can call ourselves human and yet we disregard and abuse those less fortunate, for what reason? Greed is the driving force. Not success as some want to believe, unless they share the profits with all who earned it. This is a damn, crying shame!

  • Congratulations for this nice piece of work.

It's difficult to understand why people avoids watching the other side of the coin.

  • Thank you.

"Poor is the pupil who does not surpass his master."

    Leonardo Da Vinci

  • thank you for this....

  • As a Canadian, with ties to Belize, I found this to be very interesting. Well done! You should continue this story, ie. solutions, success stories, continuing struggle. I enjoyed this film, and look forward to more. A well crafted documentary.

  • I congratulate you for the courage to show the world the truth about what is really happening "behind the scenes" of the Mayan Riviera (ironic). The poverty and the exploitation these people are suffering in their own land is a disgrace. Greed!!! You would think that they would be able to benefit even a small bit from the wealth that is being created based on their culture and land. Not so. I call on everyone that believes in freedom to seek justice and for this issue be addressed at it root.

  • @vlodigiani

as a human being, I found this interesting.

so much opression and inequalities. and the government enjoying the foreign investment from large multinationals.

lets also remember that Zapata was killed by the soon to be president and "father" of the 1917 constitution.
