  • i hate expertvillage

  • this guy is a total douchbag.

  • this is really retarded as in under 10 iq retarded

  • lol who the hell cares. just smoke it.

  • @bloodhownd you right who cares who lights it just smoke it

  • if you light a cigar with a zippo will it change the taste ?

    and help is appreciated

    thanks

  • @mrstortwagglesby depends, often there is a tiny change at first because the fuel burining leaves a taste for a bit. Depending on the speed of the burning it will stay for longer... basically the bit you light will have the taste until it burns away... i hope that made sense.

  • @Alexc3217 yeah i get it, the bit i light will taste a little different, because the flame was touching it. :) thnks for the help :)

  • @mrstortwagglesby- yeah dude. most people that i know use matches for cigars cuz they don't mess w it as much a a butane lighter, a zippo, or a disposable one would. I personally think it makes a difference too.

  • are you fucking kidding me if you dont want someone to light your cigar then be responsible and get your own fucking lighter. what a fatasshole

  • I was told that using a match to light a cigar is preferred because using a butane lighter can affect the flavour of the cigar. Is this true?

  • true yes

  • Yes this is true. Mainly for the simple fact that if you light you're cigar with a match it gets a more natural taste. However if you toast a cigar you cant do it with a match.

  • Thanks

  • Yes because butane is

    C4H8

    which means its a hydrocarbon

    alkane

which can differ the cigar turning the cigar into a unsaturdaed material ie addition reaction meaning other substances can be included ie changing flavours :D

  • But because the butane is being combusted, would that not mean that you are just adding oxygen and water-vapour? Or is there some residual butane left over?

  • @DisasterAwaits its c4h10 not h8 thats butene

  • i have never smoked a cigar before, or anything containing nicotine. my graduaiton is comming up and i wanna smoke one but im afraid ill get hooked. is it really bad as it sounds?

  • @griefer1 No only from heroin you get hooked from the first time =)

try it but you wont be able to smoke it via breathing in the smoke, cigars are very strong stronger than your red Marlbloro, technicly your not used to smoking so there will be like a valve not allowing you to breathe it in fully, if you force it then you will just cough.

  • thanks :)!

  • @griefer1 ya i smoked one last week for the first time and i'm completely fine...not hooked at all :) have fun!

  • no..

  • no ,,you will probaly through up

    lo

  • it is not as bad as it sounds. I have smoked a couple cigars in a 2 week period and am not addicted. Actually the last time i smoked a cigar was over a month ago. You will not become addicted immediately.

  • just use a zippo

  • does it really make a difference how it gets lit as long as it gets lit?

  • Actually yes, there are proper and improper ways to light cigars, and it all has to do with controlling the lighting process, as improperly lighting a cigar can damage the flavor, cause it to burn unevenly, etc. which all effect how the cigar smokes.

though I should add that properly lighting a cigar takes less than a half minute more than just lighting it up, so it is definitely worth it to the smoker to light it properly so as to enjoy their investment or gift to its fullest.

  • SHUT THE FUCK UP

  • hahhahah just shut up bro

  • i have a picture of me smoking a cigar behind my headteachers back

  • Personally, I don't see why the whole "I have to light my own cigar" is an issue. If a person is willing to help me light it fully, I'm gonna accept it.

  • Some people like to toast the foot briefly, while others prefer to completely char their foot till it's completely lit. Either method affects the burn and taste of the cigar. Allowing someone else to light your cigar means subjecting yourself to their preferred method and experience, which just shouldn't be the case, since smoking a cigar is a wholly personal experience.

  • @DeepFriedDoom- no joke dude. amen to that. a friend of mine always used to try and tell me how to light my marlboro's and my grape cigars. used ta make me mad. haha. now I understand why.

  • Informative.

  • Not really, get some weed!

  • ha ive never been so sarcastic!

  • Me neither. XD

  • hell to the ya

  • damn straight
