Back in the later 60's there was a guy (Pete Milar) who published Drag Cartoons magazine and campaigned a flathead powered FED. Don't know if Pete, the mag or the dragster are around anymore?
oh oh yea thats an awsome sound my dad used to have a comaro with 2 4 barrel crbs and a 383 stroker and that sounded awsome just like this but he sold it and hearind that sound make me think of my dads old comaro
Sorry, I don't normally say stuff like this but... 1 person out of 31 has no idea what a flathead or a blower is. If this doesn't make your blood pump, you're not alive.
Any engine can be turbo'd, just as long as it can supply the fuel to compensate -and needs to have the compression lowered and stronger pistons/bottom end [obviously]
As far as im concerned, having a roots type SC on a Vee engine is the way to go, but you could twin turbo it.

well have you blown it up yet? I have never seen a blown flathead last long. the center exhaust ports always seem to be the breaking point on the block. the block are now to damn old, for heavy racing use. I don't get why people keep doing it. i've seen way to many good blocks trashed.
We have had a problem sealing the heads, we are O ringing them at the moment and should have them back tommorrow, ready for the nostalgia finals on the 15 aug., the last time out was 131 mph at 10.03.
