Trance normally presents a large evolution of beats and sounds, and has a "plot" within the song, vocal trance adds a beautiful voice to the song to make it even better. Trance is the perfect word to describe this genre because it really does takes you there.

can someone plz explain the difference between (progressive) house and trance? :S

@Tr0ll321 progressive house starts kind of minimal and then slowly builds, doesn't usually have vocals and focuses more on the melody. deadmau5 - alone with you, is a solid example of progressive house.

trance on the other hand just has more of an electronic feel to it. can't exactly describe trance because it's too large of a genre with lots of different, but at the same time, similar styles :P
