God damn I said just that. I never claimed anyone's ownership on anything, I just thought it sounded good enough to be put on YouTube. So would you please just stop complaining?
@DarkLordOfHats When and where was that if I may ask? Before I added the comment in the description there was nothing that stated I did this on my own
I guess it will always need practice to compose such brilliant tracks.
I just commenced with simple melodies about 1 year ago and now I can do professional themes, even more complex than my "battletoads" or "kirby" versions.
Soon, if I will have more freetime, I am gonna check out these nifty tools! Thanks for the info! =)
I don't know why, but I have to think about the PC engine game "Batman" if I listen to this track. Probably, because the style and the quality is pretty similar. :P
Yeah, I think we've got to deal with controversy here:
The beat and the overall quality seems more like the sound modulation within the Megadrive or the PC engine than a product of the original NES implant.
Ah well I actually forgot to write it in description. GXSCC converts any MIDI to SCC-soundset which might sound like 8-Bit, but more like MSX and less like NES. You can argue if you can call it 8-Bit or not, I think I'll rename my videos to (GX)SCC Mix or something. I didn't compose the MIDI on my own, unfortunately. :(
Aww you forgot to get the upgraded helmet at at 2:10

I think that everyone should stop taking OTHER PEOPLE'S MIDI's and run them through SOMEONE ELSE'S Program and put them on YouTube.

Anyway, I like this master piece!
Also watch some of my versions... ;)

Great stuff! You make it sound kind of like the music from Tyrian, even :D Match made in heaven :P

The music gets a beat that doesn't sound very NES at 0:05 throughout the song.

8-Bit does not necessarily mean NES. This is a Chiptune and Chiptunes sound more like the MSX, I think...
