  • This band should be in the hall of fame. Been listening to them since the 70's and still listen to them through the member changes. Clean, tight and fun.

  • @anoldmusician Give the process time they will make it there .They are to artistically relevant to pioneering.

  • Yes .. the best album from Little Feat. Still listen to it - and so does my 20 year old son and his freinds. Smooth and tasty.

  • Thanks for posting this very underappreciated but fantastic song!

  • patrick simmons from the doobies on vocal duties with mm as well

  • yes its mm he sings better than he writes IMO

  • Waiting for Columbus was remastered with additional songs. This one is covered live also with Michael McDonald doing background vocals and keyboards...

  • ive requested this tune on classic radio 1000 times...they just refuse to play it....outstanding post...tnx

  • This is not the version I know and love, the L George slide guitar is missing as is the Paul Barerre (Accent grave) solo!!

  • The Best.

Mike McDonald , Bill Payne morphed Feat into the new soulful Doobies sound.

  • Actually, I heard someone that this song is where Patrick Simmons and Michael Mcdonald first sang together. Lowell George was a much underappreciated talent. Thanks for posting this song.

  • This band are awesome and Lowell George's voice & guitar style are for me absolutely fantastic - what a loss to the music world when Lowell left us!

  • I requested RED STREAMLINER for play on a very popular Houston TX classic rock radio show and was quite brusquely told "nobody but you remembers that old tired band". Thank you for remembering and proving them oh so very wrong.

  • @GraceFrankHerman some Austin radio perhaps?....

  • @GraceFrankHerman Little Feat has always been big in Tulsa....if people can't get it...it is their loss...

Lowell is my all time fave.....

  • Ted Templeman

  • You did good Tahoe Thom, thanks for uploading one of my favorite Little Feat songs. That is definitely Micheal McDonald's voice. He sang back-up vocals for many groups early in his career before his Doobie Brother days. He's also probably banging on the keyboard in this song too since it is a studio version.

  • Do I hear Micheal McDonald of the Doobie Brothers in the back vocals?

  • @rollingroks

Yep him and Patrick Simmons do the backing vocals..amazing, the LIVE version is even better

  • @rollingroks yes magnificent backing vocals

  • Time does love a hero, long live lowell george
