man, nice stuff...how do you send both notes and CCs to the pulse at the same time? the Uc-33 doesn´t have MIDI merge feature...are you using an external merge unit or maybe you`re sending MIDI notes to the arpeggiator from the UC-33 buttons...or MIDI sequencing from a computer via the USB cable, right?

Yes, it's done via a computer in between. UC-33e's CCs go via USB into a laptop running Ableton Live. From there, Live can send out notes and the received CCs on a single MIDI channel to the Pulse.

Sure. Let me find the pdf I created for the overlay and I'll drop you a message. You'll also need to program the UC-33e with the fixed CCs on certain preset numbers - I need to check whether I can save a dump from the UC-33e and share that as a file too.

You cant get the audio back into reason!

I think you can get reason to send out midi messages to the pulse but you have to record the sound into another program and import it to one of reasons samplers. That might work

Usually the shifted psycho basslines in drumnbass are created by insane amounts of editing and modulation. So an analog synth will help to make it easier but its not that necessary.

yes, you can access all parameters via midi CC. If I remember correctly, you can download the original manual for free from the Waldorf site and that has the full CC list in the back.

yeah makes sense. Are all the paramaters accessible by midi CC on the pulse? Have difficulty getting NRPN to work with my Novation SL61

:-) Cheers for the kind comments - yeah, it's a home-made transparent plastic template for the UC-33e, mapped to the controls I use most often on the Pulse. I programmed the UC-33e myself across 4 presets to send Pulse-specific MIDI control data.
