I come back to this video again and again when I want to imagine what that first BASE jump is like. This is a great short video. Hat's off to mark on a first jump and a really enjoyable video. Cheers.
I can *just* about comprehend jumping, assuming all you have to do is pull the ripcord. Jumping and having to flip over and move your arms and legs correctly and not face the wall and pull the ripcord at 8 seconds...
Very , very nice vid .I am 17 years old , and my father is skydiver , and i know many BASE jumpers and i dreaming about base jump - this is awesome . And base in Norway is the best . I like that . Good job guys , i envy to you !
im allmost like you...im 15 my father was a skydiver i dont know any base jumper beacos im live in israel and there is no base jump hear...i dreaming about this from whene i was 3 years old...and i cant wait until i can do a skydive course.
Fantastic vid!!!! Base jumping from the side of total begginer (without ofence)
Great camera action , and the moment of jump itself showed from 3(maybe4) different places!!!!
Nice, and once again it occurred that everything is for people, normal people. The only thing you need is self-confidence and belief that you can make it!!!!
Big and best regards to all connected with making of this movie and all BASE jumpers,
That was a great video! I just came back last week from hiking around Lysefjorden; my knees were shaking so bad from just standing on Kjeragbolten. Hopefully someday I can complete enough skydives to qualify for BASE jumping.
Absolutely fantastic video. Excellently made and filmed. 10/10. And I seriously don't know how you did it because even I was getting nervous watching you stand on the edge of that cliff.
First rate video! Had me hooked from the start. I posted elsewhere that I sky-dived one summer...approx 30 jumps, 12 freefalls from 14K. I then lost my nerve and walked away from the sport. That was the year the "best-of" BANFF Mountaineering Film Festival included a documentary of a fellow BASE jumping from the World Trade Center...a great video.
Outstanding! This is the video I've been waiting for. Felt like I was there. I've got 250 skydives and have always been fascinated/horrified with this jump wondering whether I could or couldn't do it. The intensity of this film and your coolness under that sort of pressure has proved to me I couldn't! Thanks for sharing this as it's the closest I think I'll ever dare get! Beautifully and professionally made and edited as well. Keep on jumping and keep on sharing more of the same!
i've watched a lot of base vids and for some reason this one got the heart pumping, palms sweating and goose bumps when he stepped to the exit point. Awesome awesome stuff, felt like i was right there for his first jump!
wow only one jump and my adrenaline was pumping! really well done nice to see what it takes to jump. And roadie although that was his first BASE jump you can bet hes got a couple hundred skydives under his belt.
Thanks for the video, it's so well done. Wow you looked so stable and in control coming down as if you had tons of jumps! That woman seems to be an amazing good teacher.
Excellent video Mark considering it only contained one jump! Really well put together, done about 30 jumps from this site and yet my heart was still pounding! Great exit too, good luck with your BASE career!

That has to be the coolest thing you could possibly do in your life as far as extreme sports go. Jetman may top it though.

Anyway, I am 90% certain I couldn't do what this fellow did. That said, I totally get what the sport is about and why somebody would do it.
Amazing video! Had me hooked from the start.
