Well, you first have to remodel your main house to Level 3. Have you done that? After the upgrade, THEN the bed should become available at the Workshop under "Furniture."

It's Harvest Moon: Magical Melody. It was released for the GameCube in North America and later for the Wii in Europe. There are several other "Harvest Moon" series games for different consoles, as well. ^^

Sorry, you can't. However, different "levels" of house upgrades have different color schemes (I know the floor definitely changes, but I've never paid attention to the walls - I'd assume they do too). For example, a large Level 5 house has a different interior design than a Level 1, 2, 3, or 4. You can upgrade buildings at the Workshop under the "Remodel" option, as long as you have enough available space around the lot. ^^
