@Primex007 Yes you can, but I prefer to router mine in using a 3/4 dado bit and homemade router jig making a 2" tall by 4.5" wide handle., Just set the router at about 3/8'' deep into the wood. That is much cheaper and it only takes about 30 seconds once it is all set up. I hope this will help.
