By today's standards this game's Japanese price (5.800 yens) is $66.92...wow...I got it when it came out for like $30 at Wal-Mart. The Japanese versions of these games were always more expensive...must have come with more extras like posters, books, or something...or maybe they were just willing to pay more for some reason

I knew a Japanese guy who told me he had family from Japan visit and they were astounded at how much less video games cost here compared to Japan.

I think they just charge a lot there because they KNOW people will pay for it. That and the extra costs go into making these commercials.
