  • Sheesh! And I thought you guys practiced this together forever! Amazing. Thanks Michelle for being so inspiring!

  • You absolutely amaze me with your wonderful dancing, and while expecting a baby. I love your moves and the gusto with which you dance. Drums are great, too. Keep it up, you are a joy to watch. May you and your family be blessed with your new baby. Thank you for sharing this video, Farfesha.

  • ews excellente bailarina

  • Cute costume! Wish you had something shiny in your hair to match the costume though! Very good dance! Was this an improv or did you reherse it as a choreography? Either way it's excellent! You can do the same shimmy dance on tiptoes that I can do! Not many people can do that move! Well done you seem to enjoy the dance! Loving it! Your very awesome!

  • While Charles and I always block out our drum solos, I don't choreograph them. He and I have cues and a sometimes uncanny intuition about what to do next, but mostly he is just a really amazing drummer who watches me like a hawk and does his best to make me look good. What a guy!

  • That's awesome! My ubby is currently taking drum lessons. And I'm 6 months prego and bellydancing. I would like to learn some of these cues to help my hubby and I communicate better when I dance. We have a troupe. 3 Drummers, 2 Dancers. I would like to teach our troupe to communicate better if you could help I'd appreciate it!

  • Cues are things you work out between the two of you and it also has a lot to do with the drummers attention span and his willingness to take his playing ego down a peg so he or she can pay attention to the dancer and what she is feeling and interpreting from what she is hearing you play. There are also visual cues such as eye, body, moves, and audible signals that are also used.Charles

  • Thankyou! I greatly appreciate it! My hubby is learning how to hand drum, and I just have a natural knack for it so he's wanting help. I will tell him. And then I can continue bellydancing while he plays! Thankyou so much!

  • Well as Michells drummer I have to say, she makes my job very easy. Somehow she can focus on her moves and hear every lick I play as well as interpret the rhythms to her moves. Awesome dance partner.

  • i loved the hip shimmies, slides bumps twists sverves and the great choo choos you do ... girl you are a great dancer very well done .. bravo

  • Wow, the best I've seen! Excellent locks, pops and timing and interaction with the drummer and the audience. Lelelelelelelelele...yip, yip!

  • Fantastically fun to watch! That smile of enjoyment brings so much to an already fantastically interpreted drum solo. Bravo and thanks for sharing! :D

  • She interpreted great and she looked like she was having fun. Even entertained the audience!

  • In this doumbek player's humble opinion, that was fantastic....Michelle you did a great job of interpreting his accents:)
