Hello,i bought the dmx dimmer pack and my channel 4 is not dimming its just like when you controle it on the dmx controler it doesnt dim it turns on but it doesnt dim,i would like to know how to fix that problem
Yes, you can do that. As long as your fixtures or lights are all DMX you can plug them in any order that works with your space and your lighting needs. Hope that helps.
Dimmer packs only handle the light intensity of a given fixture and leave all other parameters, such as RGB values and strobing, untouched. To control RGB values, strobing, and other features you are going to need a controller. You should also note that the dimmer pack doesn't dim by itself, light intensity is brought up and down with a console.
I have a DMX-40B Controller and the DMX-4 dimmer pack. this is used in with the par56c lights I use this in our church. can I add our house light to be controlled by the dimmer switch?
If your house lights are not halogen then in theory yes. You will need to have a qualified electrician install a DMX dimmer pack seperatly to your stage lights which is just for house lights, either a single, or multiple channel unit if you have various switches or sets of lights (such as front, back, etc). This can then be added onto the end (or the start) of your DMX loop and assigned an address giving you control of the house lights from the lighting controller.
I have a Kam led parbar, which I have connected a soundlab G018WG DMX controller to, would I need to connect a dimmer pack as well? as I can't get the controller to control the parbar
I am not very familiar with the Kam LED parbar as it is a European unit, form my investigation it shows that it is a DMX unit so you do not need a dimmer pack, what you should check is your DMX setting on the Kam LED and the polarity on your DMX controller and Kam LED to make sure there are the same.

Is it possible to use dimmer packs to control other parts of a fixture (i.e rgb values and strobing)?

I have few led par lights, you don't need a dimmer for them, you just have to check that the channels are right and your ready to go
