MANY years ago, when I was in college, I drove a taxi. There are certain areas and times where one expects drunks. I liked driving them. I never had one NOT pay, and frequently were very good tippers. But, drunks are not the only issue; they are saying don't want to even take passengers who have liquor in possessions. Cabbies always have right to refuse service if fear safety, but very difficult to refuse otherwise. Violates terms of license.
