@harkonnenn I seem to recall from the sleeve notes that the guitarist was one Chas "Wah-Wah" Watkins.........who may have been the Gillan keyboard player at the time. Whoever he was, he certainly knew how to get the best out of a set of effects pedals.
@NannyWhip Think Chas was the sound engineer for Gillan-also had one Ernie Orme on bass, Stix Hoipolloi on drums (John Mc Coy) and of course Cosmo himself. They did an EP which came out on Avatar, in perfect cack brown vinyl. Various guests appeared on the EP-well worth tracking down if you can find it. Mine is buried in a box somewhere!
Fun stuff, I think the singer was the producer at the time. Trying to think of his name. Perhaps you should add his name to the tags. Something like, nickname for a fist name, then second name. What was it? What did he go on to do?
