we were taught to use the method my baby looks hott tonight for the ked meaning middle, bottom, legs, head, top i live in northern kentucky and i know its a automatic fail if that method is not applied

dont use backboard/spineboard instead use a vacuum matress...backboard will not support the spine...trust me.

@judicator1, regionally, our EMS services do not carry vacuum matresses, but I appreciate the advice! In fact, we rarely use the KED other than for hip stabalization.
