  • to all those saying "release the bird!" please stop, like danthebum said, if this bird wanted to get away from us humans it would fly away and live near the closest river. I have seen these birds in the wild and in captivity, both of which they seem perfectly happy. If they let the bird go straight away it would know how to fend for itself.

  • I Love these Birds they are STUNNING!!!!

  • what this guy is doing is a great thing. well done mate. better you than me all i can say like. hoping to start soon myself with a european eagle owl. you guys obviously dont know about falconry if you think its cruel. that bird makes a choice to come back

  • @fannar911112 maybe not in Iceland....but in GB they were...please try not to swear and curse ....it shows a poor grasp of language....your english is impressive however. If it was cruelty this bird would have flown away to be the wild by now but she hasn't after 4 years of flying her free. She makes the decision to stay with us

  • @danthebum That's because you have fed it for long time, and the bird relies on you. It cant possible live in the wild now. And btw. In Iceland, we curse in every sentence, that just us. :)

  • @fannar911112

then feeding ducks , pigeons and squirrels at parks is cruelty too

  • @danthebum , there is little point replying to people like this, there's always one who thinks theyre more knowledgeable & comes on these videos crying cruelty.

i really wanted this bird to be at the cheshire show, but it wasnt ):

  • @fannar911112 CRUELTY lets define that in falconry terms. I am a falconer in the UK and i think that keeping any bird in captivity is cruel, I look after 33 birds at present, and fly around half of them! The only reason there are WILD birds of prey is due heavily to Falconers keeping birds in a controlled environment away from pesticides and other nasty influences placed on them by Mankind's greed for control of everything, 60s 70s in the uk sore a huge decline of raptors in the Uk due poisons.

  • @fannar911112 16 of these have been released in Scotland this week, they have been reintroduced as the hunting of them in the early 20th century wiped them out!

Norway has helped us to reintroduce them :-)

  • name of the song?

  • @bellapetuttidario93 sign...fatboyslim remix

  • @danthebum thnx

  • @fannar911112 unfortunately it is an uneducated attitude like that which kills more animals than it saves. These birds are persecuted in the wild and have already been made extinct by man. It is because of captive birds that we were able to re-introduce them to the wild

  • @danthebum

they "all are"like that. animal rights people. the people who want human rights for animals(you know, like how it's wrong America to force India to abandon all their tradtions, and be just like us)

  • @fannar911112

"dog is slave to, and goldfish, we made them dumb by breading them that way"

if the bird didn't like these people, then this eagle would crush their heads, like the people who try keeping gators and bears as pets

  • why isnt the eagle in the wild?

  • @fannar911112 it is an example of something beautiful that not everyone gets to see every day....

  • I saw this eagle flying yesterday on a day out to Gauntlet bird of prey centre. Stunning bird and a really nice day out :)

  • wow so big

  • The music is because my boss was always having a go at me for having long hair....i have since had it shaved off for a save the vulture charity

  • gorgeous...

  • fuck that music

  • i aggree. typical youtube video music. totally inappropriate.

  • this is the second largest of the fish(sea) eagles. by the way, what's with the music??!!

  • @freagle7 there is not another sea eagle with wings as broad as this.

  • the Steller's fish(or sea eagle) has wings broader then this. It also has the largest wingspan: 2.5 meters(8 foot). but i know for a fact that the white tail eagle is not far behind. it is one of the most beautiful in the world.

  • @freagle7 yeah once i went offline i realised that i completly forgot about the stellers when i made that comment.

  • on the first flight why didnt the falconer grab its jessies? if that eagle decides fuck you which it is certainly gonna do 1 day hes going to hospital or the mourg

  • thats not how you spell morgue! Respect is the key

  • you have a nice white tailed sea eagle
