I have the "I am not insane" CD/DVD and, with just Michael Gira and a guitar, it is stunningly powerful. I saw him do an acoustic set in Vienna in December 2008 and him alone, on a stool, with his guitar strapped on is mesmerising stuff. Gira just gets better with age. Thanks for posting.
The first time I saw Michael Gira, I think he closed with this. For one guy with an acoustic guitar, I was blown away by the power of it. He has great presence. The God of this fucking land indeed.
