  • house of cards that will collapse..

  • FINALLY....

  • yeah that argument works if you can actually continue catching pot users there's probably a lot more than you or anybody thinks.

  • gotta love the unfounded assertion at the end there . . . fucking bullshit

  • we should all get smashed then go promote the sale of alcohol

  • Why quote the US Drug Czar- does he not oversee a 15.6 BILLION budget expressly to fight any attempt to legalize or condone drugs?!

Why not ask a McDonalds manager if you should eat his food 3 times a day. Dont think asking police chiefs or therapists are any better- they are on the take filing for grants from the Drug Control Policy budget. Keeping drugs illegal costs America - state + federal level almost $200,000,000.00 PER YEAR. Thats alot of people with fat budgets from bad politics.

  • wow. a little over 3,000 views after a whole week?

this is only one of the most important issues of the 21st century; it effects so many aspects of life and society. but the mainstream media would rather follow around Sarah Cunt Palin than even mention this groundbreaking story.

I'm slowly losing all faith in humanity.

  • 4-20-2012 You got a job? Go on strike until they legalize cannabis! It's the only way to get full scale recreational legalization! Be the change! All you have to do is spread the word to everyone you know and every website you visit! Start a chainmail, get pro pot organizations involved. Blog about it. Like it. Thumbs up this message everywhere you see it! Let this message snowball out of control! We are the Marijuana Nation! On 4-20-2012 don't go to work instead toke up and protest! WE NEED YOU

  • @WiiLink89 hahaha im goin job huntin on that day fasho

  • @WiiLink89 Im with you wiiliknk89!!!! lets put an end to marijuana prohibition!!!!!

  • @WiiLink89 Wouldn't it be easier and more effective if we just elect Ron Paul as our next president?

  • cont... Whereas other drugs with devastating addictions should be regulated to allow addicts a way out, and to guarantee non toxic components.

  • Second: if drug use can be brought out of the shadows, we can treat addictions better in more wholesome ways. That is not to say society encourages it at all, but rather can help people who have dropped off the grid and will die in the next few months or years if we don't. It is the only way to do so. This is different than prohibition in many ways. There isn't only one drug. There are many with widely differing effects. MJ may be regulated with a view to allow for recreational use.

  • In a way, whatever legislation eventually happens to decriminalize Mary Jane needs to look at coke/crack/heroin/Ex/Mesc? and LSD. It is right to include them in the same category as liquor and smoking. They are mind altering-potentially adicting, substances humans intake to their good or peril. The main reasons to do this in my opinion relate to organized crime. Bilions of dollars of wealth has been siphoned from economies to support murdering warlords.

  • The U.S. drug Czar states that this report is misleading... OH NO SHIT REALLY??? the FUCKING DRUG CZAR said we should keep drugs illegal.... GO FIGURE!!!!!

  • Check out h i g h t i v i t y . c o m

Take out the spaces, its a website where you get high and upload images of yourself high.

    You'll love it.

  • Legalize it and I will advertise it

  • Since when is Marijuana a drug? I thought it was a plant...

  • The drug war failed because it was a fraud. They never really tried to stop it. It was just about money. Now they need it because usa doesn't really have much left beside the mouse click money

  • @CelebrityGamer Yes, I do support marijuana. It should be legalized, regulated, and taxed. I have absolutely no idea how you misconstrued my comment but it took one hell of a twist to get where you are. You also lie...or haven't been educated well enough to understand that you do use drugs. Are you telling me you don't drink coffee, tea, or soda pop? They contain a mind-altering chemical known as caffeine. Just because it is legal and unregulated doesn't make it not a drug.

  • stop the war on marijuana.

  • its not a war on drugs its a war on personal freedom

  • @CelebrityGamer bad news, that's what every school district and every anti-drug organization has tried to do since the drug war started in earnest under Nixon. They have proven the concept is an utter failure.

    1. Human psychology has proven time and again when something is "prevented" it becomes more desirable.

    2. By legalizing a substance the aura of "forbidden fruit" goes away and usage will reduce.

  • Republican Rand Paul says, smoke 'em if you got 'em. & if you ain't got 'em, Paul says, he's got a boat load of the 'good shite'. But Paul, didn't the Republican Reagans say, 'Just Say No'? Didn't the Republican Reagans create the Faux War on Drugs so that they could run dope in America? Republican Reagan's BigBanks launder the Drug Money. Reagan's ATF runs gun to the Drug Cartels. Reagan's prison system house their drug competitors.America is the most stoned country in the world. Thanks Reagan!

  • @BertGriffin88 Paul is a republican 'cause he couldn't get anywhere as a libertarian. And Reagan was a JEW-puppet president, just like JEWBama. Just like you're probably a fucking jew too.

  • @mudsharkhater,

Mel Gibson - take the prescribed medication. And don't worry, Nell will always be there for you. Now go get your beaver. All better now?

  • I'm not holding by breath for the government to do the right thing. Too much corruption - too much profit. Just another report the government will ignore.

    Ron Paul in 2012.

  • The war on drugs is a kike fucking scheme. The zionist kike jews don't want rational drug policy in the western world, 'cause that would fuck up their evil agenda.

  • @mudsharkhater Oh yeah, blame the Jews; how constructive... ¬_¬

  • @johnny111666 | When you're in chronic pain & can't get the only medicine that helps - & it's obvious these bastards control our government - let me tell you, I got no problem calling out the fuckers responsible. BS organizations like norml and mpp just waste fucking time; they ignore rational conservative perspectives, and keep pandering to libtards. I am pissed the hell off. These jewish senators, congressmen, judges, and journalists have the power to change this tomorrow, but they won't.

  • Google "Portugal 2001 Decriminalization of Drugs"

  • More available? Drugs are very available as it is; quite a non-point

  • @BuyYourselfABookOr3 Kerlikowske is going to say anything he can to keep it illegal. He is the director of the Office of Nation Deception to Control by Propaganda.

  • why talk, I would just do experiment for 2 or 3 years and then compare the figures before and after, unless drug pushers lobbying politicians to fart each time "legalize drugs" is pronounced.

  • why dose Obama ignore all the people who tell him they want marijuana legalize he ignores all the reports he even said in 2004 he would legalize now he has a hard position to the right on this. did we elect Ronald Reagan or Barack Obama I'm confused. ?

  • @CazyDayz Because Obama is cowering before the pharmaceutical companies, the cotton industry, the logging industry, and a handful of other very wealthy groups that stand to lose a ton of profits if it were legalized. It's all greed ignorance.

  • The ggoverment just doesnt wanna admit that they have been wrong for a long time

  • @MrHappytime62 plus they would look like all they do is lie and keep things hidden from us. Cannabis isnt all that bad for you. no one has ever died from smoking it, yet they seem to keep that kind of quiet when they slander it dont they. People would just be even more pissed off with governments than they already are haha. but please legalise it now, gees!!!

  • If marijuana was legalized then our children would be doing it... come on people im not against it but do you really want to see EVERYBODY using it?

  • @CassieLovee11 if pot was legal, the government would still have to get a piece, so it would be TAXED and REGULATED like tobacco and alcohol, unless you grew your own, which would probably have to be permitted or you would have to buy a license to grow . NO FREE RIDES, UNCLE WANTS HIS PART. Because of the regulation, it would be MORE difficult to obtain by children (minors). Without regulation, the black market allows sales to anyone at any age. Which do you prefer?

  • @sprtpilot You can brew your own beer and wine without a permit and I believe grow your own tobacco for personal consumption. The government doesn't need to force permits because Americans in general are lazy. Why would most of us spend time growing our own when we could run to the local C-store and grab an eighth?

  • @solath thumbed up for being exactly what I think, too.

  • @solath I agree, most would not go to the trouble. In a commercial type environment ( your C store) the government would have an age restriction on weed purchases just like cigs or alcohol. They will tax your eighth just like your brew or smokes. Big Brother will still get his, count on it. My point to the earlier post is children can buy illegal drugs easier in a black market.

  • @CassieLovee11 Alcohol is legal, if your children are abusing it then you fail as a parent. Why would marijuana be any different? The pro-marijuana groups don't advocate legalizing it with no age restrictions.

  • @CassieLovee11 Your logic is flawed. Tobacco and alcohol have been legal for years, do you see everyone drinking or smoking? No. Parents must take responsibility for their children. You'd be foolish to expect the government to do everything for you ESPECIALLY to teach your kids anything moralistic!!! Sorry to break it to you, but there is always going to be a chance that your kids will use drugs at some point whether they are legal or not.

  • @CassieLovee11 Your comment is a prime example of Reefer Madness---- Here's what would most likely happen if Cannabis were legalized. Use would spike for a while and then drop because what was once forbidden, is now legal. The proof I would have for an increase and then drop in use is the period after the "Noble Experiment" ended.

  • This SHOULD be game over. Done. Enough. No more. Legalize, make money, keep prison rate down.

If only government was so rational.

  • Henrique Cardoso for USA President 2012!!! I would vote!

  • Why is it ok for the GOVERNMENT to Poison our Tap Water with FLUORIDE without our permission or placing LITHIUM to make us calm, again placed in our TAP Water... HOW IN THE HELL IS THAT OK? Nobody asked you to DRUG US !!! hey Government Get the hell out of our LIVES.... Americans need to PUSH the RESET BUTTON on the GOVERNMENT... IT WOULD BE BETTER TO BE WITHOUT A FED GOV TO Stop it all at once until we replaced it with something the people wanted... This Government is NOT WHAT THE PEOPLE WANT

  • This war on drugs in responsible for MILLIONS upon MILLIONS of Americans in Prison. Where we again PAY over $50,000 dollars a year to house these Americans caught up in there silly game of drugs... Americans Don't Need any Government in our LIVES dictating what we put into our OWN Bodies, if we want to smoke pot will smoke... The only war on DRUGS is the Governments WAR to make sure they are the only ones controlling the DRUGS... That's the real war of Drugs...

  • The Government will NEVER give up on the war against drugs UNTIL They can control the Street Drugs... The CIA, FBI are responsible for bringing the stuff in and selling to Americans. This is one HUGE CASH COW they don't want to give up... This is MONEY we can't track because it's NOT on there books and MONEY they don't want to give up.. SO until the Government opens the Drug Depot the war on Drugs will continue... What a damn joke....

  • PTSD sucks. It may very well turn out to be that the anxiety side-effect is related more to worrying about getting busted then any thing else.

Even though I tossed a couple critical questions into the mix. I still agree that pot should be legalized if only to help break the drug trade. But then you would have to do something similar about coke, ecstasy, heroin etc. What really needs to happen is that drugs should be supplied by the state, with a significant portion being taxed. Fewer OD's.

  • @OAbrey following this line of thought, an experiment was conducted in Vancouver Canada, where heroin was prescribed to addicts, and everything was monitored. During the trial, several females stopped prostitution, petty theft dropped with the prescriptions, there was a counseling component with medical people, who could help addicts heal and cope with disease that has been endemic. A few addicts stopped using. But mostly it killed the drug trade. Unless you have organized crime in govt...

  • they've got a point facts vs failed policy hmmmmm

  • "If you can't beat them join them."

XD What a jip money wise for the government.

I mean come on, if you legalize it you can put people off of meth easy. It will at least let them get there fix without a problem of, 'omg i'm going to die alot sooner than if i smoked but this feeeeels soooooo gooooood.'

  • Go Branson! you can have your joints!

  • Can't wait for the day I can pick and choose my favorite Schedule I drugs from an online order catalog and have them sent directly to my home and not be regarded a criminal for choosing myself what I want to put into my own body. MDMA, Psilocybin, Mescaline, Lysergic acid diethylamide... What fun that would be!

    LEGALIZATION IN OUR LIFETIME !

  • Pot generally makes people happy, not angry or upset. Keep neighbor hoods safe?? Most neighbor hoods already have smokers. If it's legal, you would not have to be picking up in bad neighbor hoods. You would get it at Walmart! :) There may be a few over grown lawns, do to a few cases of the "Fuck it's".

  • I've been buying legal medical marijuana here in Denver for over a year now. Finally, I can get good stuff affordably, from a safe, clean provider that isn't looking to rip me off on street deals and everybody benefits..I benefit, the provider benefits, the state benefits...it's great! AND I still maintain a 3.92 GPA with 39 credit hours completed smoking tons of kind bud each day. My quality of life has improved 100 percent with no desire to drink liqour any more. It's great!

  • White House Drug Czar.. She's got that right!

  • legalise weed & tax it then use the money to get rid of all the meth labs.

FUNNY STORY: a dudes on the piss all night with his mates driving home & crashes into an on comming car & kills the entire family.......Another dudes having a sesh with its mates driving home gets the munchies pulls into a gas station & eats a whole bags of chips & pie. The last dude been awake for 3 days straight has a another gram is bout to go home SNAPS & kills all of his mates. Which drug would u choose?

  • I've never seen any of my friends get violent smoking pot. Mostly they just sit around and have a good time. End prohibition of drugs and go catch real criminals, murderers, rapist and violent criminals. Blameing a substance for crime makes no sence.

  • Here's a novel idea .. stop using drugs Americans .. Pot's okay LOL

  • ☠ warning label: carcinogenic, dont smoke n drive.. ya'll gotta kill demand at the source.. anyone getting enough sex is too 'busy' to smoke that garbage..

  • dot

  • didn't they say the same thing about alcohol right before they abolished Prohibition?

  • THE White House (Obama) is sooo full of shit.

How dare they say this study is "misguided"? - It's a fucking study, you greedy, rule-making, hypocrite dirtbags ruining America's principles.

  • PROHIBITION doesn't work.

  • most of the US population smokes weed anyway. Plus, weed doesn't really fucks you up. This makes you tired and pass out... Marijuana should be legal! Stop spending money for stupid shit!!!

  • It's about time this war was ended but governments do not want to end just as much, if not more than, the cartels don't want to end it.

  • the U.S. drug czar is has to be high

  • hey, ap. it's not a 50/50 issue. if the drug czar says something as obviously asinine as legalizing pot makes communities less safe, question that statement.

  • YES! YES, A THOUSAND TIMES, YES!

And whoever wrote this copy has *got* to be a stoner. At 0:08 "The report from the Global Commission on Drug Policy is *blunt*..."

    Yeah, I'll bet. ;-)

    ...

And to the rest of the world.... Nobody... *no* *body* is more tired of the American government being backwards, reactionary piss slits than the American people. Sixteen states have told the federal government to go fuck themselves on prohibition. Ten more and we can change our Constitution. We'll get there.

  • The drug czar lies. The CIA is the biggest drug trafficker. They want to keep the private prisons full.

  • Comment removed

  • Sounds like somone needs to can this "white house drug czar" cus they are obviously an idiot.

  • Make it legal and use your 2ND ammendment to KEEP IT SAFE and to KEEP YOUR STREETS SAFE!!! The Constitution is written on Hemp Paper!!! Legalize it and END THE WAR ON DRUGS!!

  • the onli reason they dont want us smokin weed is beacause we wouldnt be fighting and there wud be less people to fill up there prisons........

  • Cannabis hemp oil cures cancers, not sure what's not safe about that for our societies.

  • Surprise!

The guys who make a living off of the War on Drugs (and who would be unemployed without it) think that stopping the War on Drugs is a bad idea.

  • END the WAR on DRUGS! Ron Paul 2012!

  • nah too many people (bureaucrats) live off this charade so they won't end it, plus it gives excuses for having repressive laws

  • the gov could make money off legalizing it and taxing the crap outta it like cigarettes. but they would lose a lotta money from the pharmceutical, liquor, and tobacco companies that pay to keep the politicians! and it won't make the streets more dangerous...please if someone wants pot there are a billion and ones ways to get it illegally! so just make it legal already, u know how much space u would free up in the jails for real criminals! and the money it would save taxpayers

  • @jamie22880 perhaps, or perhaps that idea could go the way of published paper books. In the 1960, it was predicted we would be in a paperless office. That book stores would collapse as people shifted to electronic literature. Instead, we find just the opposite. Book sales have gone up. Apologies to those Kindle users out there but most people like the feel and quality of a good book.

  • @OAbrey this is true, but it clogs up the courts over a plant that should not be illegal to begin with. the cost to taxpayers to keep these non violent offenders in jail is insane. it is has been proven less harmful then cigarettes, not addicting like cigarettes. u never hear of a pot smoker robbing someone for money to buy pot they are to busy sitting on there couch eatting a bag of chips. the money that could be made could put a dent in the US debt

  • I'm a veteran of the US Army I served as Infantry for the 101 Airborne.

After i left I suffered from PTSD. I tried smoking pot, it helps so much. I'm not some left wing hippy. With out pot I would probably be drinking my self to sleep every night. Should I be locked up?

  • @killpath No, but you should get some real medical help. No one talks about THC's long-term effects on anxiety. You may have great relief in the short turn, but find things worse in the long run. Or a doctor may prescribe it, but I doubt a psychiatrist will.

  • @OAbrey lol, psychiatry is a joke who cares what they would do. They are about an legitimate as alchemists or chiropractors.

  • @ArchNME thumbed up for epic rightness. AMEN, BROTHER.

  • @OAbrey You don't make any sense. Marijuana is not prescribed by a doctor, it is simply recommended. You act like any doctor can just give you a prescription. Know what your talking about before you type. No comprehensive study has been completed on the long term effects of Marijuana use either so you are talking out of your ass completely. Smoking marijuana does something for people undergoing chemo therapy that no other drug can replicate. Talk to one of the thousands testing that theory!

  • @ebooklibrary27 Dude....chill

  • @OAbrey Ive smoked pot so many times before and have never had longer effects on anxiety it does help, even if you dont believe it.

  • @OAbrey Your right, no one talks about the long term, I wish i had more info on that. But I know my friends all are heavy drinkers and I know it will kill them someday. I don't know what right or not I just kno living with PTSD is not an easy thing.

  • @killpath There is no doubt alcohol is especially bad for people battling with depression, which is where PTSD tends to spiral down to. It really is a toxic substance. PTSD is nothing to fool around with. Good medical care really helps, and can bring relief on the long term. Some medical people may see Marijuana as one way to cope until real meds can take over. Your in my thoughts and prayers.

  • @OAbrey Thank you. I think your right. I think pot alone is not the answer. But i think pot could be a good ingredient to a pill that DR.s make.

  • Comment removed

  • they'll just ignore it like Nixon did with the "the Shafer Commission" in '72. Goodness, come on people, think of all those prison guards who would be out of work if they ended the drug war.. we can't have that now... It's important to spend more money on prisons than education, and to treat citizens like criminals for burning up buds from a ditch weed.

  • It would move this country in the right direction, but to many anti drug lobbies have to much sway with our federal government to every let legalization happen. It would free up our prisons for real criminals, save us money for taking care of those prisoners, save us money associated with fighting marijuana growers and users. Also create a new industry that will bring in tax dollars.

  • people need to grow up, the only reason the govts, wants drug illegal is because they are profiting from the drugs being illegal, simple as that..

  • Thank you. Stop wasting money on a fake ass drug war. The government could make alot of money if they sold weed like cigs. Selling pot would get rid of the deficit. It's common sense. We don't live in the 50's and 70's, when they lied to grandma and pa, about people will rob and rape you if they smoke weed. The silly part is that people still believe that crap.

  • can someone tell me why alcohol is legal but marijuana is not?

  • @oo0GameOver0oo

How did chris rock say it? If it's all white it's alright. Why is dog racing legal and dog fighting isn't.

  • @TheBeardedMarxist

Because dog racing isn't to the death.

  • @oo0GameOver0oo

Lobbying by Dupont, Pharmceutical, corn farmers, drug dealers, prisons, police, tobacco & alcohol,

They all lose money if Marijuana is legal.

  • @BadSwineDOTcom what? lol

  • @oo0GameOver0oo You asked why marijuana is illegal,

It's Government lobbying by Dupont, Pharmceutical, corn farmers, drug dealers, prisons, police, tobacco & alcohol.

Those are the people that profit from marijuana prohibition.

  • DRUG WAR: The CIA & US military grow and guard the opium and cocaine... they smuggle it in to Mexico and the

US, give it to the FBI & DEA to distribute it to their chosen big dealers then launder the cash thru our corrupt banks...

Law enforcement busts the small time dealers / users who go thru the courts and must pay fines (city revenue), rehab (insurance co's) and/or go to a privatized prison, where drugs are readily available.

    Real News @ RevolutionNews.US

  • It's about time someone used their brain. Prohibition has never worked it never will, just legalise it all and let people take responsibilty for their own actions instead of blaming it on inanimate substances.

  • They don't want to legalize it because they are making money with prisons.

And police seizure. They don't care about really solving the problem.

They should should legalize and just tax it. No more violence. The users get to use, the government gets there 28 percent. After a short period on increase drug use; people will then slow down. Same with the crime. Short period of increase then it will drop tremendously.

  • As a drug dealer I totally oppose this because it would be terrible for business.

  • hell yea

  • Thank God! I wonder how long we have to wait ?

  • How will this stop gangs killing each other over Cocaine and Heroin and such?

  • @kjb86

It shuts off the illegal money of the drug trade which propels the violence.

  • @LetsPLAYnice100

I didn't realize people used monopoly money to buy coke and heroin

  • Yes!

  • 1: people on drugs usually stay home and stare at the carpet or watch jeopardy.

    2: they buy more food.

3: the cost of all these federal penitentiaries is more than is necessary. cut that instead of the totally NOT broken medicare (which has a surplus that you stole to fight two unnecessary wars and now you don't want to pay back the money you borrowed).

4: tax it but not too much or the same problem will arise of homegrowers/smugglers beating your shit prices.

the end. drug war is stupid.

  • YES BRANSON!

  • Capturing murderers has failed. Set them free!!!

  • @pvtjamesryan3 Murder and drug use are slightly different.

  • @FreedomFighterUK

When you shove the bong up your ass at the airport and the dogs start barking at you, are you able to run away from the police with a bong up your ass?

  • @pvtjamesryan3 Well your mother managed to get up and scramble for her clothes with my bong rammed firmly up her vagina when your father came home early. If my trousers were round my ankles my ability to run would be severly hampered so I guess the police might catch me. If the dog is chasing me then it would probably go straight for my penis because it is similar in appearance to a giant bratwurst. Well if I'm honest more like a regular sausage, but your mother doesn't seem to mind.

  • @FreedomFighterUK what a nasty mouth!!!

  • @MsSouthernpatriot Are you trying to seduce me?

  • PRAISE ALLAH! =D

  • fucking thank you

  • The drug war failed? No, really?!?!

  • @derekjlight Sarcasm I hope?

  • @MinmatarThrasher

Yes, of course. Trillions of dollars spent and drugs haven't gone anywhere.
