I never leave comments as no one will read them after 10 posts but I need to let a few understand something.

The 430 shifts automatically when you hit redline, 1st gear sometimes allows it to bang the limiter, but all other gears it shifts correctly.

This owner probably didn't know this. I didn't initially and have done the same thing. Once you think you've stopped spinning the tires, the car knows it already and initiated a shift, at the same time you also shifted, thus, 3rd gear is a result.
