Thanks for the memories.... I was actually there that evening. My ears were buzzing for the next couple of days. The "Homer Hankies", the downtown parade (I was there for that too) I live in AZ now and the D-Backs aren't bad, but after you've experienced what I've experienced it's hard to top

I remember that world series, every home team won, meaning had it started here, it would be the other way around. I believe 1991 was the same way, every home team won.

@redilliop Yes if I remember correctly it was the first World Series where the home team won all the games. The Twins won the first two, then the Cards won the next three in St Louis and went ahead, then the Twins won the final two at the Metrodome. I was lucky enough to watch all four home games including the final
